The minute we opened the door it smelled like cigarettes very badly! The deadbolt locks, shower head, toilet seat were all broken. The carpet was filthy you can tell it wasn’t even vacuumed in some spots. We arrived almost midnight so we couldn’t change booking, otherwise I would’ve moved to another hotel!

Started off checking in at the front desk and we were happily greeted by Kelly. She was super nice, helpful, and made very welcoming conversation. She asked us about our plans and was just nice in general, she was not just trying to check us in and shove us off. Extremely helpful and courteous. Room was very homey and neat. About all you can really ask for for a a motel room, nice big king size bed, mini fridge, microwave, desk, little sofa, didn’t have an issue. I thought the breakfast delivery nook was a really neat way of getting continental breakfast, I had never seen it done that way before. I would definitely stay at this location again, and I would recommend others to do the same for an affordable room for a night or two.

Kelly was very nice at check in and during our stay.
This is a no thrills but no fuss small motel. Room was fine and clean, beds and bathroom were also nice and clean. No lobby to speak of but for the price it was better than expected👍
Compared to the $250 a day plus hotels the Nittany Budget offers a nice affordable option for a short stay and only 10 minutes from Penn State.

Surprisingly pleasant hotel, very clean, comfortable beds, quiet. We spent a restful night. Breakfast is basic but delivered straight to your room and is free. Kelly at the front desk was excellent and very helpful. Definitely recommended

Very comfortable and clean. Can’t beat the price during a very busy Penn State weekend. Kelly Burns was very helpful during check-in. we were greeted by name made us feel very welcomed. I would recommend the Nittany budget motel. Thank you.

Kelly Burns made our check in simple and she was a pleasure! Clean hotel with excellent location! Lots of parking available. Convientlu located next to a nice restaurant. We enjoyed the delivered continental breakfast as well. The muffins were delicious.

Outstanding customer service. Rooms were clean and well maintained, Convenient to shopping and restaurants, also convenient to Penn State University Kelly at the front desk was especially helpful and friendly, room service came at exactly the time requested.
