War geschäftlich unterwegs 1 Nacht im Löwen. Freundlicher & gut vorbereiteter Check, trotz Covid sehr gutes Frühstück mit top Service, Semmeln hervorzuheben, richtig gut & es gibt eine analoge Zeitung. Mein EZ 31 war rustikal eingerichtet auf modernem Standard, fantasievolle Dekos in den Fluren Bezug nehmend auf den "Faust"-Hintergrund Staufens. Es gibt ein Ticket für kostenfreies Parken auf den öffentlichen Parkplätzen, ich empfehle den Parkplatz "Alfred Schladerer", der ist am nächsten. Vielleicht ist es ja möglich, den Gästen die Parkerlaubnis vorab zu mailen, dann kann man gleich parken & mit wenig Gepäck die 100 meter zu Hotel laufen & muss nicht mehr zurück ?! Fazit: klare Empfehlung, komme wieder, wenn ich in Staufen übernachten "muss", ääh, darf !!!

Authentic old world charm. Small room, no english cable channels. Comfortable bed. No elevator in the hotel. Be prepared for steps.

Great location in a beautiful town. Lots of restaurants but be aware that not all open every day so worth checking. Good breakfast despite COVID restrictions on self service. On previous visits breakfast has been exceptional.

Reserviert hatten wir um 14:00 Uhr, und gingen um 16:30, als es niemand mehr in Restaurant war, genervt unzufrieden. Durchgehend Warme- Küche! Wir waren 4 Pers., 2 bestellten einen 5 Gänge Menü, was keine Ausrede ist, dass wir zu lange warten mussten. Die anderen 2 Pers. haben den Hauptgang erst bekommen, als sie den Hauptmenü der 5 Gänge brachten (es muss kommuniziert werden). Von der Qualität des Menüs, ging es vom Fein, hartes Fleisch (man sah es schon bei der Struktur des Rindfleisches), das Dessert hatte einen faden, undefinierten Marroni-mousse Geschmack! Enttäuschend! Auf der Menükarte steht: Unser Küchenchef kreiert mit Freude einen Schmaus für Ihren Gaumen!!! Es war nicht der Fall.

wir waren zum Mittagessen die ersten, die bestellt haben, leider mussten wir extrem lange warten, dann hiess es, dass ein Teil von uns noch einen Salat vorweg hatten, daher die Hauptspeise (von TAGESKARTE) zusammen serviert werde, daher die längere Wartezeit... Dann kam eine unvollständige Spargellieferung, bis die Beilage geliefert wurde waren Spargeln kalt, die nächste Lieferung Spargel ebenfalls kalt, weil Beilage gefehlt... Hätte man eine warme Speise gewollt, wäre das blöde Spiel von vorn losgegangen, meine Mitesser waren eh schon längst fertig. Dies hat servicepersonal ohne eine Geste der Widergutmachung einkassiert..finde ich voll daneben, die habens wohl nicht nötig
