We always stay here when we come to Staunton. The location can't be beat, and the breakfast is delicious! The houses and rooms are quaint. We feel, however, that there needs to be some upgrading/updating to the rooms. The boards on the floors creek to a point where we are always concerned about disturbing anyone who may be staying underneath us. The towels in the bathroom are the same ones that have been there over the years that we have stayed and they are rough and in need of replacement. The bed linens are also the same as they have been in many years and the lamps are our old and do not provide adequate lighting. Attention to these small details will make Frederick house an even more desirable place to stay.

Ive stayed at this hotel many times and every stay is wonderful. The staff that works there are always super helpful and really nice. It is right in the middle of everything, so you can almost anywhere in a reasonable amount of time. The couple that runs this establishment are friendly and take your suggestions to heart to try to improve further.

Our room was cozy and clean. The staff was great. There are five choices for breakfast and the food was fresh and yummy.

On a Monday, our car was ticketed after parking in the only available spot for about an hour and a half. Very limited parking is not convenient.
