Rivers Edge Treehouses

The place was sweet, but outrageously noisy, basically right on the highway. There was nothing there to support coffee--just coffee, no milk or sweetener. Very minimal extras although yes, beautiful. For the price I would have expected a better experience.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Rivers Edge Treehouse resort. We have been coming to the Tail of the Dragon for many years and Rivers Edge was such a treat and great being so close to the Tail while also having access to local grocery and restaurant options. We took our dogs as well and they were so accommodating of us in every way. So many great details here you simply cannot go wrong. Whether it's a quick 1 or 2 day trip solo or a week long vacation with the family and dogs we cannot wait to come back and stay at Rivers Edge. Thank you sooo much!!!!

The Rivers edge Treehouse was amazing. It was exactly as advertised. So clean and homey. I would definitely recommend staying here. We could walk to the river and there was a grill on the deck. Very private. The only negative was lack of hot water in the bathroom sink and low water pressure in the shower.

This was a great find. We went with other couples and we all had our own treehouse. Everything was perfect. The place was clean. The setting was quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting down by the stream. I would definitely recommend giving this charming place a try.

My husband and I had a nice stay at Rivers Edge Treehouse Resort. The treehouse was very cute and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. It’s located in a good spot for doing the Andrews Valley Rail Tour and visiting Fontana Dam. We hope to return to do some kayaking in the area.

We were in the area to do some fishing and chose to stay here in #3. We loved this quaint treehouse. Everything was clean, comfortable bed and had everything we needed. It had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and tea pot. Check in was super easy. I loved sitting on the porch in the evening overlooking the water. I’m sure it would be even more beautiful in the fall. I would recommend to anyone and would stay again if we were in the area.

Stayed in treehouse #3. Everything was excellent and well explained. We will definitely be back in the Fall in foliage time. We even grilled ***** Steaks on their gas grill. The location is near the Cherohola Skyway that we loved. Loved the entire time.

We stayed in treehouse #3, rode up from Evan's georgia on our bike to enjoy riding the mountains. Even on a bike is was accessible with covered parking under the tree house, checking in was a breeze and the tree house was cozy and peaceful. I would definitely stay again if I'm in the area. The host are helpful and can answer and questions you may have

Treehouse/Cabin #4 was clean and perfect for a quick overnight stay. The entire property could use a spruceing up, but had a good rustic feel. Can park a lifted Jeep under the Unit. Unit 4 was closer to the water, but views are restricted due to being 100' or so of trees/pines between the cabin and the common fire pit area. Cabin 4 and 5 are approx 10' apart so conversations on the deck are not private. Things to be aware of, but were just fine for us and our needs. Hot water w better than good pressure and clean linens.
