I booked a stay at the Stable Lodge for a quiet weekend away, and thats exactly what I got. The Lodge itself is well furnished and Lousie is the perfect host! She was kind, friendly and super accomodating!
I would definitely recommend this place to any traveller wanting a break away from the hustle and bustle of larger towns/cities, and its the perfect location to reach surrouding areas for all sorts of adventures.
I'll definitely be returning when I need another weekend to myself!

The lodge is a sanctuary surrounded by lovely, green gardens. My bed was extremely comfortable - like sleeping on a cloud. . Breakfast was nice and relaxed and the host, Louise, was really pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Located about 9 kilometres out of Canterbury, Stable Lodge is a retreat from the hustle and bustle.
