I Love staying at this hotel with my family & friends, all the staff are so friendly and helpful, Reception staff are very welcoming when checking inn, bar/restaurant staff will always go out the way to make you have a lovely relaxing time, Kim/Casey-restaurant/bar Catalina/ reception

First time in IHG and Food is very tasty and good and staff is very friendly. Special mention to Shabeer who is very polite and friendly and gave me good suggestions for food optionsas well which suits my taste and wouldrecommend to visit here.

I had to go to Stevenage for a few days work and the holiday inn was the hotel booked by the company. There is a small carpark on site but its easier and cheaper to park in the council multistorey across the road. The reception was very clean and pleasant, the staff were friendly and professional. I was given a room up on the sixth floor, the room was ok, but is looking rather tired and could do with an update, redecoration and the bathroom remodeling. I did not have dinner in the restaurant so I am unable to comment on their dinner service. I did however take breakfast, and was rather underwhelmed by this. Perhaps these are relatively small grumbles but I do wish hotels would stop providing tiny glasses and cups, we are all aware of the importance of being properly hydrated but we are then provided with an eye bath to drink from. My bigger complaint regarding the breakfast is that the hot food was not hot or even warm, at best it was tepid.

The hotel is located near the train station, but there is a charge per night if you you want to park your car onsite (approx. £12 per night). The main reception area was nice and bright, the check in staff were really bubbly and friendly. The room was a little dated but clean overall. There was a continental breakfast available, with cereals and warm food, fruit, yogurt etc. The thing we found was it was too cold for us, the room did not really heat up even though it was set at 30 (so not the best sleep), the common areas and the breakfast areas were just too cold for our liking. Had it been warmer inside, it wouldn't have been too bad and overall was an average stay.

Great stay and meeting! Loved my stay here as I was attending a meeting at the hotel with my company. The events team were amazing with dealing with my dietary needs and the meeting room we had was perfect. We will defiantly be booking more for the future.
