Best Hotels in Stezzano, Italy

There is free water, the room, the corridor tastes OK, there is no fox smell. Breakfast is more abundant. The room utilization is also OK. Overall very satisfied. The only downside is that in a town, the traffic is not very powerful.

I expected from the photos much more than this. The hotel is nice and quiet, the mattress quite comfortable but ... The rooms are definitely dated, with antique pieces like the phone (which after a few minutes is overheated and can no longer be used without risking a burning..), the The coating and the tape, or the shower, the anti-slip plate and the sofa in the shower. Prepare to sleep little and almost naked, so it is warm and this season (there is no air conditioning) And when we opened the window we were invaded by the ants, so we had to close it; the cleaning was quite approximate, so that I had to change my son's shoes after I allowed him to walk without a shoe. No bad breakfast, the only negative aspect was the white bread that could be quietly from the day before, but the rest I would say appreciable. This hotel are thieves, after booking me and my girlfriend to stay for three days (she’s not from Italy). when we presented at the Hotel Città Dei Mille for the check-in they told us that we need a “super green pass” (we’re vaccinated 2 doses and we had a negative PCR covid test) . They told us to access the Hotel Città Dei Mille you need to have the third dose, but the Hotel Città Dei Mille didn’t tell us this before coming neither the booking website it wasn’t written anywhere we checked many times in front of them. so we looked for another place to stay, when we asked for a reimbursement the Hotel Città Dei Mille said they don’t reimburse FOR NON PRESENTATION. Shame on you Hotel Città Dei Mille Bergamo Lombardia Italia, this not a good customer service at all if you have economic problems don’t take it from your client’s pocket. The reimbursement amount we asked for was just 200€ Have a nice day

Stayed here for two nights. Had stayed before in the “old town” area of Bergamo which was lovely. This area would be considered “run down”. It’s a 5-10 minute walk to the main town for coffee shops, restaurants etc. Previous reviews commented how welcoming, friendly, helpful etc the reception staff were but I didn’t get that experience. Reception area is right inside the door so it can be crowded arriving and leaving with luggage, prams etc. Room was adequately spaced. Could have been given extra towels (three for a single room is basic), also needed a fridge and water glasses etc in the room. Floors could have been hoovered so make sure you wear slippers (not included in the room)! Didn’t include breakfast in my stay and glad I didn’t cos the selection looked limited. This hotel is fine for a short stay but perhaps look elsewhere if staying for longer.

There's not enough good words that can be said about the skills and training of the front desk staff, the breakfast servers, the evening dining room staff, and the housekeeping ladies. I am what is now being referred to as a ”Digital Nomad,” single, solo and senior traveler... and this hotel really fits my needs. Sure it could be €10 cheaper, but the room has an excellent long work countertop, WiFi Internet, large bed for sleep and for organizing travel bags, bathroom with both a tub and a walk-in shower correctly designed for use, and the food service is quite amazing. While you do need to take the taxi to most places, unless you drive, there is a major shopping mall just across the highway, and an unadvertised underground tunnel to get to the other side of the road and to that shopping center! I am not a fancy restaurant person, but the restaurant accommodates me with a very simple selection of food by my request. Both at breakfast and at dinner, the dining room is usually packed with happy diners and eaters. While I sit there with my simple food selection at dinner, I do admire the variety of Italian dishes that are ordered by other diners. Maybe I can't eat the spicy food but it sure looks good! And the other guests are very happy! I have used the Hotel's driver to taxi me to and from a variety of locations: BGY airport, Bergamo train Station, as well as the Covid vaccination center! He can be booked by SMS text and WhatsApp. Extremely easy to communicate with- both digitally and in multiple languages. The hotel is off the beaten track, therefore the taxi rides are going to be 10 additional euro from what might be expected in more urban areas. This is one of my more favorite hotels of any brand. While I rate the location as poor because you need to drive to get almost anywhere, the remoteness of the location is in itself a plus if you are residing here for more than just an overnight, because the landscaping is simple yet comforting, and major parking is underground.

(scroll down for English) Prenotazione cancellata a 48 ore dall'arrivo senza spiegazioni, hanno proposto alternativa inadeguata (2 letti invece di 3) e quando abbiamo rifiutato, ci hanno detto di cancellare tramite Expedia. Se l'avessimo fatto, avrebbero intascato il pagamento; fortunatamente Expedia ha trovato altra sistemazione. Abbiamo poi controllato, a quell'indirizzo c'è un portone non senza targa o citofono che faccia pensare che la struttura esista davvero. Il sito è in costruzione. Esistono altri Bergamo inn con ottime recensioni (e sito funzionante), probabilmente usano un nome simile per trarre in inganno. Booking was canceled 48h before arrival, without explanation. We were offered an unsuitable room elsewhere (2 beds instead of 3). We turned it down, and they instructed us to cancel the booking via Expedia. If we had done that, they would have kept the payment! Thankfully Expedia found us another accommodation. We then passed by the stated address, and there's nothing to indicate that there actually is a hotel/B&B. The website is under construction. Most likely they use the name ”Bergamo inn” to trick people into believing they are linked to other successful hotels by that name.

The location is very good and convenient. Opposite the train station, the airport bus stop is also next to it. It is not far from the old city. The room is large, very clean, the equipment is very new, and the front desk service is very good.

Good points - communal areas clean and tidy. Vitoria on reception nice. Large bedroom looked like it was recently Decorated. Big bed and soft pillows. Enough electric sockets. Good shower. Soundproof, although there's always someone who has to slam their door. Breakfast good. All the usual. Bread, ham, cheese, yoghurt, fruit eggs etc. Bit manic at times. Bad points. Bedroom wasn't cleaned and bed wasn't made one day. Another day we weren't left with a spare toilet roll. Our towels were never folded and just left in a heap on the rail. Never given any milk in room for coffee. We haf a shared balcony, but if we went on it, you could see staight into another bedroom, on the corner. Thick slimy brown muck at bottom of shower. It was never clear off in the 9 nights we were there. Without effort, I cleared a bit off with a tissue. It was disgusting. Area is good and not run down considering its by the station

I have visited this hotel a couple of time during the last 5 months and the best description I can give is that is an average hotel with its prons and cons. What I liked: The modern rooms, the cleaning quality, the staff on the restaurant. What was average: The reception staff ( there were some nice workers and some not so nice) and the location (you need a car 100%). What i didnt like: The internet was awful in the 2 rooms I was ( one stay one week, another stay 2 weeks). I was there on a bussiness trip and both times I had to connect to the mobile phone to be able to send emails. The air conditioning was not reliable.
