Hampton Inn & Suites Stillwater

Need an upgrade on Television.

This is one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I checked in online and was assigned a room. When I arrived, at 10pm, I found a bathroom SINK FULL OF SEWAGE. The front desk told me that the hotel was full and I could not be moved but they would comp my stay for the night. I was able to get the sink to drain and was able to wipe out the sink so that I could brush my teeth and wash my face. The next morning we asked the front desk to be sure and have the room cleaned thoroughly since there was also sewage splattered on the floor. When I went to check out on Sunday, they did not comp my room and implied that I had lied about the issue. My only regret is that I did not take a photograph of the problem before cleaning it up.

This was our first stay at this property was our Christmas 2023 trip to Stillwater. I chose Hampton for a few reasons, most importantly was the standards of Hilton hotels. This property did not disappoint! The room, as well as the halls and common areas were immaculate. The staff were always smiles and very polite and accommodating. The breakfast served was very good and had many options to chose from. We have stayed in many different hotels in Stillwater over the years and this is by far our favorite hotel now. We'll be staying there again next Christmas.

Staff friendly and accommodating!

The staff were all excellent, very nice and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Our only complaint is the room smelled very musty. It was just an old, musty smell. It reminded me of a basement or an attic of an old house. In hindsight, we should’ve called down at check-in and asked for a different room. It was bad enough that our clothes smelled that we slept in, the sheets (or maybe top blanket?) just smelled like they had been washed and forgotten about. If we had been there more than one night, I couldn’t have handled it. But again, we didn’t call down about it so they weren’t given a chance to make it right. They were so great and nice that I feel like they would’ve been willing to switch us a room, we just didn’t want to complain.. I would probably consider the hotel again, but I wouldn’t accept that smell again.

Hotel is beautiful and very clean. Service was wonderful!

It was really nice just make sure you tell them you would like housekeeping every day. They seemed a little confused on that.

I loved the beautiful decorating of the entry way and living room.
