Had a lovely one night stay at the Bell Inn. What a beautiful place in the lovely village of Stilton. There was plenty of parking for free, a nice outside area for drinks, lovely bar/restaurant inside. The room was warm, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The shower was excellent. I chose full English for breakfast, it was delicious. I would definitely return there.

Decided to have a spontaneous 1 night getaway and was happy we did. Greated with a clean, spacious room. All of the usual extras (tea/coffee/water). Once settled we went down to the bar. Prices were fair and a good choice of drinks. We followed on into tye restaurant which came with a calm atmosphere. Food on point. Room came with breakfast, again a good selection from continental and freshly cooked options.

My fiancé and I had the most wonderful time here. The room was lovely and clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower hot and powerful. There were loads of amenities provided in the room, and it had so much character. The temperature of the room was lovely, and you could open the window if you wished to. The food was excellent and plentiful. The stay was honestly just perfect, and we are trying to find an excuse to visit again!

Stayed here last night before a junior board meeting today. Lovely historic coaching inn. Food last night and this morning at breakfast was fantastic as were all the staff. Special mentions to Sally who served us breakfast this morning and stood and talked to us about Stilton and a range of other topics, felt she cared, also Dina (maybe spelt wrong, sorry!) on reception who also had a little chat to when checking in.

The Bell Inn oozes class. Great location, car parking available at the back. The Bell was immaculate, a wonderful setting, steeped in history. Excellent front of house staff, nothing was too much trouble. First class chefs who turn out delicious dishes which are cooked to order, table service was timely and professional. We were really impressed with this place and the very high standards in all aspects of hospitality. A very well deserved top review, thoroughly recommended! Thank you to all staff!

Lovely historic building, great ethos, nothing too much trouble. Friendly and helpful staff. Dog friendly. well maintained gardens and rooms. Ideal for a short break. Enjoy the courtyard, bar and bistro.

This is a gorgeous hotel and it's location is great for access to different places in the area. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The menu has a very good selection and the restaurant is obviously popular with more local people too!

Our first stay here was extremely pleasurable. Despite some minor housekeeping issues ( which were resolved very quickly) it was perfect for our needs. It was quiet and charming. But for us what makes the Bell Inn perfect was the staff. Every member of staff was incredibly helpful, positive and kind. Whatever they’ve got in customer service should be bottled. Will definitely return.
