Hotel Gamla Stan, BW Signature Collection Reviews

I recently stayed at your hotel and wanted to share my experience. Overall, I had a mixed experience during my stay. On the positive side, the hotel's location was great and the breakfast was excellent. However, I did encounter some challenges during my stay. When I arrived at the hotel, I struggled to carry my two suitcases up the stairs after a long flight. Unfortunately, there was no assistance available to help me with my luggage. When I asked for help, the front desk staff simply suggested that I push the door. As you can imagine, this was not very helpful and I found it disappointing. While the lack of assistance with my luggage was a downside, I did appreciate the other aspects of the hotel. However, I do hope that in the future, the hotel can provide more support for guests who may need assistance with their luggage. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

It was difficult to go up and down the stairs because I had a lot of luggage, but the location is really good for traveling.

Breakfast is on the first floor. The cave design is quite special and quite rich. The location is the biggest advantage. I like it very much. It's walking distance to all places. The subway station is about one kilometer away. Except for checking in at the subway station, no transportation is required for other attractions. Highly recommended Stockholm hotel!

The environment is very good and easy to find. It is right by the river and very close to the surrounding attractions. The front desk of the hotel also upgraded the room for free. The overall experience is very good!

Though they call themselves a Four Star hotel, it's really not up to that standard. The room was adequate, but less than plush. I was annoyed by the lack of shelf and drawer space. And I thought it odd that the desk and the bedside tables had fake drawers that did not actually open, just looked like they did.

We stayed over a short time but the hotel was very clean and across the way we had delicious denish and coffee. We left early morming at 3 a.m. to catch a plane and the hotel prepared us a delicious baggie breakfast.

Excellent front desk staff. Take away breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Room was small but nice. Additional toiletries and a safe in the room would have been nicer.

Otherwise nice and comfortable, but really noisy. Situates next to a street with high traffic and The windows seem to let all the traffic noise through. Also people returning from bars on the middle of the night can be heard loud and clear even with earplugs on.

Central hotel, comfortable bed and friendly staff. Area around it was walkable and easy to find everything you wnat to see

Loved the location.the stars going in were icy. josephine and elaine were very helpful.thank you...my room was cold. You can't9 cintrol the temperature.there was a portable heater,which really helped.the bathroom window let in alot of cold air.the toom was very confortable.we took the arlanda express to the central station,then a cab.we did walk there a few times,w/o our bags!! There is a traditional swedih restauran in gamla stan,that was great.a little pricey.we enjoyed our stay.

Staff friendly throughout, quality of breakfast above average with plenty of choice - really wish I could give a super positive review however, the bed was just not at all comfortable! Both my partner and I suffered each day with back pain and struggled to get a full sleep

The location is good, but the hotel is far less attractive than on photos. The rooms are so so and seem very cheap. The decoration is quasi inexistant. The bathroom is what you would expect in a 1 or 2 stars hotel. Even the breakfast is low quality (not even a real coffee machine!) . The hotel is more a low range 3 stars than a 4 stars.

Great hotel, centrally situated. Staff were very helpful in booking taxi to airport & providing breakfast for our early check out. Lovely warm rims. Fab breakfast
