The hotel located right next to the station Very close to museums on the island

The reception at night didn’t give a clear instruction on how we park our car when we already arrived very late. He can’t speak English very well so we can’t communicate smoothly. Also, the reception at daytime was not keen in answering our questions, which was not we expect for a “four-star” hotel.

Hotel check in was great staff were very friendly. Room was very comfortable but quite hot. The aircon does not seem to work very well. Fortunately there was a fan in room and the nights cooled down. I think the room build up with heat due to the glass ceiling on front of hotel and the reflection. Hotel is part of ABBA museum so very handy. Great location for about 6other museum within I mediated are and the Tivoli amusement park. Breakfast was terrific and the staff very friendly. Cafe in front was great. Restaurant for dinner food was good but service was very slow and missed a few items.

This is a really nice boutique hotel with incredibly friendly , knowledgeable and helpful staff. At first glance I thought it would be too noisy being above the ABBA museum but is one of the quieter hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Breakfast was excellent and the dinner menu featured very good local fare. Try the meatballs and the fish stew.

A gorgeous hotel with professional staff who go above and beyond to help. I stayed here for the location, being a massive ABBA fan for decades, and the hotel being right above the Museum was wonderful. The hotel is also close to the Vassar Museum and the Skansen park - both of which are walking distance away. It's also possible to walk to Gamla Stan along the waterfront. The whole area is very walkable and I had two gloriously sunny days which obviously helped. The room was dark decor and dim lighting but I quite liked that. Once I worked out how to operate the shower, the bathroom was very clean and functional. Note for future shower users - turn the tap to the left BEFORE turning on the water ! The room had a kettle and tea bags but no UHT milk pods or instant coffee which I would recommend they have a think about adding. There was also a nice mini bar and snacks (but expensive - but all mini bars are expensive). Breakfast was very Swedish which I found wonderful as so many breakfast buffets are full of English food. There is hot food available to order and the scrambled eggs with chilli are truly delicious. A few niggly negatives - there were a lot of breakfast staff on but I was overlooked and had to approach the staff myself to place an order. The hotel and the ABBA Museum are operated by the same company - so there should be priority/skip the line access for hotel guests - but I was told to go outside and join the line with everyone else. However, I did get a Museum ticket discount (but this is not advertised - I found out when the ticket seller mentioned it). I would stay here again and I would love to return to Stockholm - but it's so far from Australia!

Overall good, but a bit of a mixed bag. On the good side, it is in the same building as the ABBA museum so a lot of ABBA theming and links (I assume that is the reason most people book here!). The breakfast was really excellent - a huge range of choices and the cooked element was served speedily. All delicious. We had the Terrace Suite which was not much more expensive than the next level of room, and was a large and comfortable room with a separate seating area, and as you might expect, a terrace on 2 sides. Transport into the centre is very easy by ferry or tram - 10 minutes either way. On the not so good side, when we arrived there were no towels and 3 clothes hangers. They did rectify this quickly, to be fair. The hotel is literally next door to Grona Lund, a theme park. Now, if you do any research in advance, you will know this, and the screeching and screaming did not really affect us as it is, of course, closed at night. But being next to Grona Lund does impact the tram and ferry, which can get incredibly busy. Potentially more annoying was the noise from the sister hotel - Hasselbacken - across the road. There, they did have loud music till late, though the soundproofing in the room was pretty good. Final point is that whilst the hotel has several bars and restaurants, arriving back at 10pm after having been out for dinner, everything is closed, so getting a glass of wine, should you want one, is not easy.

Loved this place! Great location - went to see an American band play for my Birthday at Circus, which was just a few minutes up the road... It's also close to Skansen, a bunch of other museums and parks, and there is a tram stop right across the road... The staff were friendly, fun and fantastic - they actually made a special birthday breakfast and sang Happy Birthday to me which was a lovely surprise, and a highlight of my trip! The room was lovely, modern - clean and comfortable, great size, and the best bath!!! I would definitely stay here again.
