Elite Palace Hotel

Lovely hotel away from centre of city. Great breakfast and walkable to centre with metro close by.

First night my partner went downstairs to ask for an extra blanket as i was quite cold, they said we will send someone straight away with it. It never arrived. On our last day we went downstairs for breakfast and everything was already been put away, was 10.10am and breakfast ended at 10.30am. We have one lunch at the restaurant and was awful. I got a stake with a salad and my partner meatballs with smashed potatoes. Stake was cold and salad i could not eat it because of how much seasoning and salt they put on. Meatballs were dry and with a weird taste like they have been off, mashed potatoes on the other hand was amazing. I've tried booking the spa but it was all booked up unfortunately, that was the only thing i do regret. Overall our stay was ok, we loved our room and the heated bathroom floor. The place is really clean and i loved the choice of 'Go green'. The hotel is a bit far from city center but there any many transport options within 5 10 minutes walk that will take you wherever you need. Airport is only half hour away with car, so thats an extra point.

Really great family room. Clean and nice location! Bad part was that we booked this stay solely because of the playroom for children. To find out by ourselves that it was only open on weekends. This information is no show on the big marketing elite is having. The staff in the reception did not even mention this while we asked if we could go there directly but only said: you can go to the playroom and ask the staff. But the staff was now there, hence it was closed. Poor service due to this.
