I’ve stayed in a lot of nice hotels around the world in my life and this, by far, was one of my favorites. First off it’s in a terrific location right by a metro station and walkable to many parts of the city. Right by the old city, the southern part of the city and a quick ride or a nice walk to downtown. You have great access to restaurants in a slightly less touristy part of the city and near some of the best dining in the city as well. The staff are also incredibly nice and friendly. They were incredibly welcoming and helpful when trying to plan a day of sightseeing. I want to send a special shout out to Helga who accommodated us when we had an issue with our room that we were first assigned. The breakfast was out of this world, and it’s included with your stay. I’m not normally a fan of hotel breakfast as I would rather eat at a café or somewhere more local but this breakfast had just about everything you would ever need and it was all delicious. The beds were super comfortable as well. Honestly, it may have been the most comfortable beds that I’ve slept on, and that was so helpful after long days of walking around the city. I will say that the rooms were very small, which is typical for Scandinavia, but they were still small regardless. You don’t get much privacy in the bathrooms either as there’s a window between the bedroom and the bathroom. You can’t see anything in the bathroom, but make sure you love the person you travel with. Additionally there’s no elevator in this hotel so if you’re on the fourth floor, you have a very long walk up when you get back. None of that really detracted from our stay, but it’s something that some people may want to know before staying there.
