Could not fault hotel for the price we paid, so reasonable. Family room was very big, comfy bed, great night sleep, lots of parking.

I was asked for an extra payment on arrival, as the system had me down as only paying a deposit and not the full cost of the room. This was not correct - it's not possible to pay anything less than the full cost when booking on line as I've experienced in the past. It wasn't possible for the staff to sort this out and I couldn't phone HQ as it was a Sunday, but I am taking this further (with all the usual hassle of course) and requesting a refund. I really could do without this.

What impressed me was the staff friendless. We were there for a family funeral. The location was perfect. Room clean and meet all needs. What took away from experience was the sadness of the occasion

We had a lovely warm welcome, the receptionist was very helpful. Check in was quick. We had a lovely meal at the Old Rectory. I had the best night's sleep, very quiet, no noise and the room was lovely and clean. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice. Checkout was as 12 noon which was ideal. Great stay and we've booked again for when my daughter is in her next cheerleading competition.

Very clean, comfortable and spacious room, staff were very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay and highly recommend this hotel. The price and location were just what we needed. We would definitely return to this hotel in the future. Excellent experience.

Room 37 is next to the boiler room. The boiler can start up at any time of day or night and is noisy and disturbs your sleep. Overall the premises is getting tired, worn shabby carpets and decor, crumbling mouldy plaster round windows. Staff were good though. Premier Inns were once good value for money but much less so now.
