Premier Inn Stockport Central

Nice size room and comfortable bed, had anything you would need for an overnight stay

Lovely clean and comfortable Premier Inn tucked away behind Stockports historic Market in Stockport Old Town. Arrived to great welcome and were given two parking permits so we would not have to pay. There is a great Hungry Horse on site - You can go into the pub side just for a drink or the restaurant does breakfast, lunch and dinner with plenty of kids options. There is also a garden outside to eat or drink if thats your thing. Stayed here a few times and also just been to eat and will do so again. Bed was comfy but slightly hard for my preference. I slept on the sofa bed in the room and I found this exceptionally comfortable.

Booked online for 2 nights stay and everything seemed ok until we arrived to our room. When looking at the towels they had someone else's hairs on them and in the sink too. The bed had some sort of blood/splattered dirt on them. The walls has spilt drinks up them. I approached the staff and let them know and I didn't even receive a sorry or that they would sort it. I asked for them to change the towels and bedding. Came back to the room later that day and they had made the bed but didn't change the sheets after telling them it had splattered blood/dirt on them. Absolutely disgusted, on the service. Apparently a fee people that day had complained about the quality of the rooms that day.

Very comfortable and very large bed and very clean room,and a decent size too. Staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly too. Handy having a pub/restaurant over the road, but they did seem very short staffed and amazingly enough closed at 10pm on the Saturday night!!

Could not fault hotel for the price we paid, so reasonable. Family room was very big, comfy bed, great night sleep, lots of parking.

This was the best time away as a little Romantic get away for my partner and I’s anniversary everything was as it should have been would definitely go again

I was asked for an extra payment on arrival, as the system had me down as only paying a deposit and not the full cost of the room. This was not correct - it's not possible to pay anything less than the full cost when booking on line as I've experienced in the past. It wasn't possible for the staff to sort this out and I couldn't phone HQ as it was a Sunday, but I am taking this further (with all the usual hassle of course) and requesting a refund. I really could do without this.

What impressed me was the staff friendless. We were there for a family funeral. The location was perfect. Room clean and meet all needs. What took away from experience was the sadness of the occasion
