Boutique Motel

The greatest asset at the Boutique Motel is Des. She is truly amazing. She is a perfect example of how to welcome someone at a property. She is kind, efficient, and extremely helpful. I needed to check in very early. I called the day before to inquire about dropping off my luggage and then finding a coffee shop where I could work until my room was ready. When Des found out that I had to work, she said that she would have a room ready for me when I arrived. And she did! A tidy room was ready and waiting for me. Because I had arrived without a car, Des offered me the use of one. Most places offer the use of a bicycle! She made sure that I knew where to find coffee shops, grocery stores, and restaurants. And if all that was not enough, she delivered a homemade treat to my room. She is quite simply, amazing. The motel is a small property. Be aware that there is not an elevator. So pack light. My room was small but designed efficiently. Old style tile in the bathroom provided a "retro" feel to the room. The in-room climate system was great for establishing the perfect environment. The room also had a microwave and a mini-fridge. Coffee and tea were provided, and the owners of the motel operate a coffee cafe called Little Nessie, which is within walking distance. The bed was comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet at night. Which made sleep easy. The next time I am in the area, I will definitely be checking into the Boutique Motel.

Two couples travelling together and we spent two nights at the Boutique Hotel. Very friendly and helpful welcome and departure - nice people who care about business. Everything was perfect and we would be happy to stay here again. An added bonus was each of us receiving a quality free espresso/latte at a nearby cafe which apparently is within the same ownership.
