Everything was perfect. Location was beautiful, grounds and house clean and very welcoming and friendly. Food was amazing. Couldn’t ask for more. Will definitely return.

Our second stay at the Upper House. It is in a wonderful position and very quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is imaginative and a great choice. Lots to see in the area. A really enjoyable stay, thanks

Just great, lovely grounds to wander around (weather permitting…..) We stayed in an executive double which was lovely and quiet The guest lounge was a nice place to relax with a wee glass of wine and the food was excellent All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Let’s not forget Bella the cat - a wee sweetie

I stayed one night only to break a journey but plan to visit again for a longer stay. A beautiful house, very impressive gardens, interesting art (who’s the creator of the unsigned works on the walls of China and other corridors?) and such a good atmosphere from friendly and attentive staff. Bella the cat was the cherry on the cake. Wonderful spring colours on the shrubs and trees and a magical bluebell dell behind the house. Bravo to the gardener’s who use such care and imagination in the grounds.

We spend one night at the Upper House on our way back to London. A great place with a good atmosphere and very nice and friendly staff. Excellent rooms that are nicely decorated. We had both diner and breakfast. Unfortunately the internet WIFI was not working but we survived. If we can, we will return!

This is our first time at this hotel the checking was quick friendly staff the room was Honeysuckle lovely cosy comfy bed lovely tea coffee tray complimentary water bathroom very modern great shower and toiletries.We were part of a wedding party very nice buffet great party room .The breakfast was help yourself plenty of choice and cooked lovely .All the staff were helpful.This hotel sits in beautiful grounds walks nearby will definitely visit again
