The hotel is great the food was fantastic and even though on the two nights we stayed there were weddings this did not detract from the service levels. I would have give this a higher rating but though the room was spacious the layout could have been better ie there was a TV on the wall and a sofa to the right so the tv should have been on a bracket allowing greater viewing of the TV. The bed was a little uncomfortable but this could be down to my preferences. All in all a lovely hotel and I can see why people choose to have this as a wedding venue

Second visit to the Upper House hotel and it didn't disappoint. Everything about it is perfect, arriving and parking is easy and plentiful. Reception really friendly and a lovely room awaits. Evening meal and breakfast very good. Through the garden and lovely scenic walk along a trail burns some of the calories off. I am sure we will visit again

Fabulous location in beautiful countryside. We had a very comfortable 2 night stay, with delicious meals, lovely walks (especially by the canal) and the Wedgwood Factory to visit nearby. Parking is plentiful and on site. The staff are helpful and friendly.

Faultless...the staff were great...the chiefs food was excellent great plates of food...the room was perfect, clean comfy and the hole place was set in beautiful gardens. I loved the fact the field around were left to grow wild. a real hidden gem...thanks I will be back!

We’ve just spent 13 nights at this wonderful hotel using it as a base to travel the country. From arrival to departure everything has been faultless. The food in the restaurant was of a very high quality and he staff were all warm, friendly. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve already booked a return for 2025.

We recently had our wedding at the Upper House in Barlaston, and it was an unforgettable experience. The weather was absolutely perfect, making the day even more special. The venue itself is stunning, providing the ideal backdrop for our celebration. Ellie and her staff were exceptional, ensuring everything ran smoothly and that we and our guests had a fantastic time.
