I reserved a table in the restaurant two days in advance.. Unfortunately one in our party of five wasn't feeling good (over indulging in food and drink the night before), so only had iced water, but the rest of us all had a main course. Very friendly staff, food was quick to arrive and flavoursome , toilets were clean. Would definitely come back again.

We were only here for 1 night. It was so lovely we looked at staying another but was full up. Rooms are clean and well maintained. The view from our room took our breath way. We ate in the restaurant which was great. Breakfast served at the table, tasty and plenty. Will definitely be back

We didn’t stay here but did eat in the pub. Lucky to get a table as we arrived early evening on a Friday, had not planned to be in Stonehaven and so hadn’t booked. A good menu from which we chose Asian stir fry and Thai green curry. Delicious and at a fair price. Recommended.

Nice a**osphere and the staff are extremely attentive however the mackerel dish was uninspired and looked and tasted like mackerel from a supermarket. Horseradish sauce was bland and the new potatoes with creme francie was just ok, no finesse. Overpriced meal for what it was and very disappointing. General lack of seasoning!!!

Fantstic stay. Lovely cosy room. Comfortable beds. Good shower. Wonderful view of the harbour. Fantastic pub and food. Amaizing breakfast. Brilliant walks and runs and activities all around the village. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would happily return.

Wir waren das erste mal im 2022 dort zum Übernachten mit Freunden und fanden es sehr Toll in diesem Hotel mit dem guten Essen, so dass wir im Frühjahr 2023 wieder eine Nacht mit Freunden buchten. Dieses Jahr buchten wir im April / Juni und August mit Freunden mit Essen. Alle unsere Freunde fanden dieses Hotel super gut.

Our rooms were charming, cosy, had lovely shower rooms and all necessities (bar hot chocolate!). The staff were kind, thoughtful, friendly and considerate. Beds comfy and harbour view just lovely. This small hotel offers a unique and distinctive experience for those seeking respite from the cloned offers of chains and conglomerates.
