Nice warm welcome, Plenty of parking. Room was a good size with massive bed and a good size flat screen TV. Everything was nice and clean. Bathroom could have been a bit more spacious and the shower had very low water pressure and only just hot enough. Evening meal in the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast in the morning was good all laid on to help ourselves with plenty to choose from. Would have no problem staying here again.

We have been to this hotel several times, it has the basis of a fab hotel, great amenities etc but its not rub particularly well. The pool/billiards room closes in the evening when you would assume it would be open to use for residents in the hotel, noone could ever quite tell me what time it didn't close but it was basically part of the swimming pool and gym and closed when that did. Again noone actually knew what time that was! Paid for my puppy to stay but got no puppy treats, or puppy pack as promised! All in all would stay again but it doesn't quite live up to its stars the way its currently being managed.

Awful experience and just look at Google reviews for a non manipulated view of this hotel. Not sure where to start, if it was the rooms that didn’t have towels, the stained bedding, the mould and smell walking to the swimming pool or the outdated rooms. Wouldn’t recommend this for a cheap stag do. Arrival to the “Manor Hotel” is into a run down car park that is littered and looked more like a city centre fast food car park. Trying to open the reception doors with any kind of luggage wasn’t an easy feat either.. then to notice we had one towel provided in our family room (for 4) put our experience to a bad start. The disabled toilets that were not regularly cleaned either, with paper all over the floor upon arrival that was still there the day after. Having to inform reception of the blood and faeces on the walls and the “Ok” sigh wasn’t pleasant either, then letting them know the gents toilets in a Spa Hotel needed attention got a “I’ve already told the cleaning team” without even engaging in eye contact. The rooms are in desperate need of a lift up, the wall paper that isn’t square, the plugs that are wonkey, the broken tiles in the bathroom by the sink. They are like a tired B&B.. Dreadful experience, no doubt the team will not take any responsibility for the experience either as they didn’t on our visit. Again, look at the Google reviews before booking!

Hotel was ok, room - good. Shower water pressure was very poor, other than that no complaints! Restaurant and food really nice. Starter - Mushrooms 👌 Main - Mousaka 👌 Breakfast - Good, Buffett style and all food was hot. Hash browns were a bit crispy, but tasty… so not a negative

We booked 2 day stay to coincide with friends Golden Wedding celebrations locally. The staff were pleasant and made us most welcome. Special mention goes to Manu the duty manager who ensured all was to our satisfaction. Our room was large and more than adequate. The breakfast was up to the standard that this hotel is rated. I would have no qualms about a return booking. To those who have posted negative reviews my advice to you is to be more positive. This is a good hotel for the tariff set. If you are always this critical you'll be better off staying at home. One criticism is that the beer selection is excellent but comes at a price. The house lager at £4.75 a pint isn't too bad . Premium beers at over £6 a pint is is.A happy hour would be most welcome.

The walls in the bedroom were not the best stains all over the bedroom walls. Been there twice for food and both times have not been great with the prices we have paid. How ever a party of us went to the abba night and all i can say that is was absolutely fantastic

3 night stay... so clean and staff very friendly and professional. We both had the best nights sleep and had a very tasty evening meal plus self service breakfast was hot (sausages really nice). We used the bar and pool area too. Brought my own bubble lotion so had luxurious baths each night and shower in mornings . The place is a little dated hense why cant offer 5 but doesnt detract from what is on offer. ..Had a great stay for us to visit local attractions. Definately, recommended.

At check in the staff was flustered she handed me the paperwork to sign without the pen, she did not advise of the breakfast times or the check out times, there was maintenance equipment left in hallways the stairs had carpet coming off there was brown stains on the shower curtain we woke up to no hot water or heating to be able to shower or wash, when informed about this all they could advise is to make a complaint online, when at breakfast we were shown to a table then left having to figure out how things worked / were things were by ourselves the plates were dirty and we had to wipe them ourselves we checked out early to enable us to go home and shower. The whole place seemed run down / not looked after I would not recommend this hotel !

This hotel is not a 4* so lower expectations! Staff are not good, not enough of them! Late to check us in, bar is basic and toilets were quite honestly gross with one cubicle having a used sanitary towel left on the floor, upon telling staff I was told the cleaner would be called as it was below their pay grade to sort it! Rooms are tired and dark! Bed was clean and comfy but pillows not so much! Woke the following morning to no hot water, we reported this and told it would be resolved in ten minutes! We left without being able to wash with hot water! Staff didn’t pay much attention and no focus around guest services! Just poor!! Breakfast was the one thing I’d say was ok! Didn’t eat at the restaurant as we couldn’t find any staff to seat us! The list really just goes on! If you lower you standards you’ll be fine! But do not expect luxury! I didn’t go in the spa so cannot comment, but upon seeing guest venture there I thought rather them than me!
