Superb place to stay. The main inn/pub is near the centre of Stow and serves super food. There is a small courtyard development 100m up the road, which is where I stayed in an upgraded room. The staff are great, and I would highly recommend this as a place to stay - I was very impressed.

A lovely warm cosy hospitable hotel . Stow on the Wolds a gem of a town , would definitely recommend The Bell a spot on evening meal complements to the Chef, staff very welcoming even got greeted parking the car . Room very comfortable and well equipped and a good breakfast to start the day will definitely return thank you

My partner and I waited at reception for 10min to be seen and whilst seated the waiter (bald man) served people that came after us before us. Walked past our table numerous times before asking for our order and again before taking our plates. Overall experience was awful.

Lovely room, so clean and lovely bedding. Parking was great, room is in a great location in stow. Complimentary biscuits and water when we arrived. Room was a little warm in April. However would recommend!

This room in Stowe is ok for an overnight stay but when you go solo - or even a deux - it's really strange to arrive to find a huge double bed AND a mattress laid out on the floor for another 1 or 2 people - but no comfy chair, sofa or space!! Also only one bedside lamp and a decidedly wobbly and slopey bedside shelf. Turns out the extra bedding was a sofa but why on earth have it set up when you are only 1 or 2 people. The room also smelled somewhat of a barn and you can hear every breath of the people above and are shaken by each of their footsteps on the creaky floor boards ... it's ok and reasonably comfy but worth close to £100 for one - absolutely not!!

A wonderful welcome and a lovely room! Location was perfect and dead opposite the wonderful restaurant we had booked called the sheep on sheep street which I highly recommend! Can’t wait for our next visit! Many thanks!! A fabulous base for your tour of the Cotswolds

Went in for the pub and had a lovely evening. Excellent drafts and pub food. Craig was terrific and made us feel at home. Charming ambiance and setting to soak up English culture. Highly recommended when in the Cotswolds. Thanks very much, Craig. We will be back.

We stayed at the rooms a short walk from the Bell. Parking was very convenient. The rooms had nice touches, were tasteful in decor, but small. The pub was very good, a modern take on old world charm, light and well presented. A shame that we didn’t have rooms in the pub itself. Stow is well worth a stay - enough to keep you interested for a couple of days.
