Room was small but very nice. Lighting in bathroom was really good. Food in restaurant was surprisingly excellent. Nice balcony and views of the mountain.

The walls/floor were very thin and it was quite loud. There was a wedding happening below us and we heard everything. Luckily quiet hours start at 10pm, so it was quiet after that. There are nicer places to stay in Stowe.

The Stowehof is a quaint hotel with a beautiful view. Its cute and definitely has charm, the two pools and hot tub were a nice addition, and the lobby area was beautiful. The room was compact but well laid out, and we had a great balcony looking out over the mountains. The pillows were a little stiff though, and there was no option for a less firm pillow, next time I will bring my own! Overall the beds were comfy, the hotel is a little dated but shouldn't bother a hardy traveller and the hotel is full of charm! Quintessential Vermont (or Swiss alps). We also found these great walking trails behind the hotel full of wildflowers as a little bonus!
*side note, the hotel is not very accessible, I would recommend other accommodations for those who are not as comfortable with stairs, or who are older and may need flatter surfaces. There are lots of little nooks, crannies, and stairs to get caught in.
