I called on a Thursday to find out if they had availability for Saturday as we were enjoying our week in Stowe, with the Rec Path, hiking, restaurants and breweries so much that we wanted to stay one more night from our week long stay 1/2 mile away. They were so nice to take us in even though they were closed! Our Motel room was more than adequate with a mini frig, microwave, cable internet - which came in fine, a desk, 2 full beds and a twin bed and AC & a ceiling fan. But the best part of staying here is your STEPS away from getting on the REC Path right by Bridge #6 and can leave your window open at night and listen to the West Branch River trickle by while you sleep.

Nice and comfortable stay with my teenager. The place is very the center so you can walk to the brewery, the mini golf, the restaurant, the ici cream and even the bike/walk path. The room is decent with share bathrooms. Everything was clean. The place is pretty old and when you come inside the place, it is smelling the old thing. Not so great, but upstairs it was correct. The price is fair enough for what you get, even more for Stowe area.

Great price for a skiing weekend trip to Stowe. Very friendly hosts and they allowed us to check in early. Would definitely stay here again. Free parking lot in the back but it was pretty icy and could use salt and plowing.

Not my first choice but was in a clutch, bed was clean and had hot water, very simple otherwise.

We had an enjoyable stay. Julien was very accommodating and friendly. The only comment we had, which is no reflection on Julian, was the bed and pillows were not the most comfortable. Otherwise the location was perfect and there was a lot to do in the area.

Location great No frills place You get what you pay for Only complaint was the room was freezing but they gave us a space heater and then it was fine

Remind me of Little House on the Prairie Walton's Mountain and the Griffin no Wi-fi no fridge and the room microwave what a wonderful country setting that was for me
