"In the countryside in Stratford in a beautiful timber beamed building. The room was dark but spacious. We had the family room with a double and two single. Breakfast was included. No menus but the waiter said any English breakfast combination which was great. I had two poached eggs. The only problem was a lack of communication regarding the usual route to find the hotel being closed due to road works. Navigating a one way system in an unfamiliar town with no email or call to let us know how we were to get to the hotel was extremely stressful and put us 1.5 hours behind the schedule to arrive. This could have been sorted if the hotel had contacted trip.com with the landline provided at booking and explained about road works so I could have been forwarned."

"Nice hotel. Big room. Nice spa, only footbath broken.
The building is old and needs a renovation. If something Is broken it's not replaced.
The food isn't great. The plate are cold but the food is lukewarm. Starters were nice but pita bread wasn't toasted. Salmon very small, not even fillet and not crunchy. Risotto tasted watery. Desert way too sweet. Breakfast lukewarm too. Ok for the price overall. View from restaurant is amazing though."

"Everything fine except for the check in.
Hotel insisted that the rooms had not been paid for in advance and that to gain access i would have to pay at the desk
I have therefore paid twice for the same booking
I have tried Premier Inns complaints line but end up in an endless wild goose chase and no help

"This hotel is recommended by a local tour guide. The appearance looks inconspicuous. After entering, it is a hotel with a very miniature facility. The hotel lobby is like a living room, which also meets the style of Shakespeare's town. There is a famous saying of Shakespeare's works at the door of each room. Very interesting, The room is small, the facilities are retro, but very clean, the hotel is sitting on the central street of the town, behind is Shakespeare's birthplace, the town itself is not very big, the distance can be reached within walking distance, the most relaxed city in the whole trip, breakfast is cold buffet, Hot food, choose the main dish, pay attention to the coffee is a single charge, this is a little different from other hotel breakfast"

"Is very old hotel, like 500 years ago with quirky historical rooms and a very good restaurant and bar at the ground level. The service personal is nice and very helpful. If you like to live in a true historic place and eat well it’s a good choice for you."

"The setting is super for visiting the sights and the hotel is a beautiful historic building. The modern spa was nice to use but we found the room quite basic and could do with a freshen up and very disappointed that there where no hot drink making facilities in the room.
We had the breakfast included in our room cost and we were very disappointed in that - everything was swimming in grease and the black pudding and potato rosti were very over cooked so we could not finish our meal.
The car park is £7 per nights stay but were were not made aware of this beforehand.
We would probably stay again but would upgrade to a room in the old part of the building and won't have the cooked breakfast."

CChun WahThe place is fairly clean, but the interior space and equipment are mediocre. If I stayed at the price, I believe there will be a better choice. The only good thing is that the parking lot is free, and there are supermarkets nearby for shopping.
