We really enjoyed our visit, and the breakfast was by far the best we had in Scotland. The service was also 5 star excellent.
We are already planning another trip to Scotland, and we will definitely stay here again.

What a beautiful place to stay. We had already pre planned our driving trip around Scotland, otherwise we would have loved to stay longer at Coul House. Stuart and Susannah and their staff were all great hosts, very friendly, efficient and professional. A great team. Our room was very comfortable, very clean and cosy. The hotel has a lovely ambience, which is very welcoming. We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was brilliant. Many thanks for an excellent couple of days.

Family of Scots who live in America over for golf and visiting parts of Scotland for first time. Chose Coul house as a base for a few days and what a delight. Rooms were fabulous, location amazing, food really, really scrumptious, staff brilliant and owners top notch. I can’t speak highly enough about the time we got to spend there and would recommend staying to everyone. We had a great trip to Scotland made better by staying at Coul house. Thanks Neil

Beautiful property and rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. Nice quiet bar area for before and after drinks. Highly recommend.

Thank you so much for every comfort the lovely owners and their team provided during our short but wonderful stay. The house is beautiful, very well restored and refurbished, a very warm welcome was received immediately upon arrival. The offer of help with the bags, fresh milk for tea in the room, and what a room and bathroom, large, stylish, and filled with luxury products. We had dinner in the restaurant, the food was exceptional served by a friend waitress, enjoyed in a lovely a**osphere. We strolled round the grounds, and sat in the garden admiring the hotel and in awe of the dedication of the owners. (Take time to read the info folder in the room, such a page turner about the history of the hotel). I cannot wait to return. No faults to be found, and I do like things to be done properly!

We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful hotel for our first anniversary. Room 16 was perfect - spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean, with a great view and the bath had a hidden TV screen above it! The owners and staff were all superb – seamlessly efficient, so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was also amazing, with imaginative and delicious flavours, easily worthy of a Michelin star.

Long weekend with wife and four year old daughter. Very elegant structure, extremely friendly and helpful owners, excellent customer attention from the staff. High quality food, prepared down to the smallest detail and with the freshest ingredients. We had dinner the first evening and as soon as I ran out of water, I had a waiter who refilled my glass... the dinner menu was made up of elaborate and tasty dishes, fresh and well combined together. I couldn't find a flaw even when I looked for it. A beautiful and a**ospheric location where you feel welcome. My daughter had a great time in the part of the garden where there were fairies and monsters. These owners have the ability and intelligence to have a structure suitable for families with children, families with dogs, but also pensioners looking for relaxation. I am still impressed with the breakfast, the fruit was of high quality and very carefully cut; the jam made by the chef could easily be put on the market and create another business. The room was extremely well cleaned. We will certainly return.

We booked Coul house out for two days, for our Daughters wedding, where do I begin, the place itself is in a stunning location & gardens with great views. We’ve visited a few times & decided it was the perfect place as my daughter fell in love with it. The service was exceptional & the wedding celebrations ran smoothly, all the staff are a credit & nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing so a big thank you to the chef! All our families travelled from all over, Wales, India, England & Australia. Everyone was impressed & had a fabulous time. A massive Thank you to Stuart & Susannah, you have helped to make such wonderful memories. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Scotland to go & visit & we will definitely be visiting again

Nothing that is anything but perfect. Location, property, view, room, bed, food and last but definitely not least the staff. Wonderful gem for a (too) short weekend stay. I have seen many places in Scotland and this one is definitely making top 3 so far. I will be back!
