The lodge is a very comfortable, family friendly location. Our unit had everything we needed. The views from our room were great. Kitchen was fully equipped. Parking garage was a real plus. Close to everything in the village. Of course you can't control the snow, but they tried.

We really enjoyed the property and unit! It was clean, in a great location to walk to the ski lift and shops/restaurants and we appreciated the parking garage.

Dining options can be better..when we.stayed they had an event and Grizzlies.was closed.our room was fully equipped ..see pics

Numerous carpet stains and wear patterns - it was quite disgusting actually and carpet felt sticky. The room also smelled grungy. Bathtub had mold around the edges.
The unit was not as pictured when we booked. Some of the cabinets were broken.
Overall, I would have expected a much cleaner and nicer room for the price. Way too expensive for what you get.

We love the convenience of Long Trail. So close to the mountain. A quick Walk across the street start your mountain experience . A must is a Post ski outdoor pool and hot tub experience. Heavenly..Friendly staff. A lot of the smaller touches from prior years are missed. Live our time and memories here.. they are getting very pricey. Also a negative is the parking can be tough. The parking garage spots were definitively not designed for the oversized SUV’s and trucks that some people love.

The Long Trail House is probably the most convenient location in the Stratton Mountain resort. Right across from the main pedestrian village, it is literally 5 minutes walk from the central ski area. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment facing the back of the building and it was perfect for us. The apartment had a fully equipped kitchen, electric fireplace and tiny balcony. You also get free indoor parking with your stay though we had a hard time locating the door entry to the garage, when we arrived. You also need to pick up your door key/pass from the Black Bear Lodge. We had a frustrating arrival as we arrived around 8:30pm on the week before Christmas and hardly anyone from the resort was around. But other than that our stay was great!

Beautiful spot for skiing but we stayed one night in autumn. Condo itself was good, but for the high price two things about housekeeping were unacceptable! At 10pm we discovered there was no spare toilette paper in the bathroom. And we found that the living room cable TV didn’t work. The contact info provided by ******* was only for the reservation center, not answering after 5 pm. The welcome packet holder with keys had an insert about rules and such that I had carefully read not realize that tha cardboard holder had more information on it. The in room phone direct listed dozens of numbers for ski shop and restaurants but nothing about guest services, nor was there any marking on the phone about who to call. Only the bedroom tv worked - so we turned in earlier than we had wanted and i
Annoyed we were missing tv by the nice gas fireplace in living room. Not being sure what to do next I contacted ******* but that had only the reservation phone number. Not sure what to do I decided to try dialing operator fully expecting the same result as the closed switchboard. Turned out that was the right thing to do. This should have been at the top of the phone card in the kitchen and marked on each phone! Wasted 2 hours trying to fiddle with remotes (no spare batteries) and a lot of worry about dealing without toilette paper. $$$ and NOT acceptable. By 11:30 we could use the bathroom normally after a very unpleasant experience.
