Good 4 star hotel. Great spa and gym . Late check out could be better priced.

Good quality hotel which is well maintained. Only issue was noisy guests but that seems a common problem these days and the hotel staff dealt with it quickly

A very large hotel which, for me, lacked a welcoming atmosphere. Noisy with other guests. Room in need of refurbishment. Breakfast uninspiring. Not even pots of tea or coffee made for guests! Dinner in the Flame restaurant stodgy and lukewarm. Overall did not feel like a 4* hotel.

I was a little tentative staying here given previous reviews, but I have to say my stay was one of the most comfortable few nights away I've had. Yes, the decor isn't modern, however the level of comfort is way above expectation and made my stay a real pleasure. The army of staff who keep this hotel immaculately clean should be truly acknowledged and thanked. The welcome received on arrival was fantastic and equally on check out. I stayed for two nights whilst away for a local conference, which most of the other delegates had also chosen, so the hotel was very busy. My room was on the ground floor of the Annex building, but on one of the corners, making my room feel more like a suite, than just a room. Having a balcony facing beautiful grounds was just delightful, being able to open a door and have fresh air in the room. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I love that there was an option of a bath and separate full enclosed shower. Yes, the hotel doesn't have modern decor, but it oozes comfort which made my stay a really welcome one and one I'd be very happy to recommend.

Terrible customer service and quality of amenities and food. The staff are rude and seem miserable and angry all the time. Really made us uneasy the whole weekend. Also nothing opens at the time it says it would open- cafe, restaurant, bar- always late. I ordered a coffee at the cafe and the waitress rudely said to me “We’re not open yet” and when said opening time is tomorrow 10 am and it’s 10:15 now, she said “I have to serve my boss first”… We were there for a wedding and the couple were so stressed out because the service was horrendous.

Spent two nights in this hotel, the room was comfortable as was the bed, staff were pleasant; young and very helpful Pleasant gardens and play area for families. Gym swimming pool sauna and steam room all in good condition, We were there on a Thursday and Friday were told the restaurant was only open on Friday and weekend, there was a reasonably priced extensive menu in the bar which was very good, Don’t see how anyone could find this hotel anything but more than exceptional value for money. .
