The hotel is in a perfect location for visiting this beautiful area. Rooms vary greatly but all seem to be comfortable. Lovely sitting area and extremely nice and helpful staff. Wonderful landscaping, Very good breakfast, All in all this is an excellent choice at a reasonable price.

Très bel hôtel, superbe piscine, emplacement en front de lac, proche de tous les commerces, possibilités de parking dans l’hôtel mais on a très mal dormi! Séjour début mai 2024, une chaleur étouffante dans la chambre au moment du coucher, on essaie de mettre la climatisation qui ne fonctionne pas, on ouvre le volet roulant et la fenêtre pour aérer car les nuits sont plus fraiches et on laisse ouvert 15mn puis on referme. Réveillé au bout d’une heure par la chaleur de nouveau étouffante, on appelle la réception qui nous indique qu’en cette saison la climatisation n’est pas opérationnelle et qu’il faut ouvrir la fenêtre, ce qu’on avait déjà fait! Ouvrir la fenêtre seule ne sert à rien car le volet ne laisse passer aucun air et on ne voulait pas dormir la fenêtre et volet ouvert pour ne pas être réveillé par la lumière au petit matin! On a pas eu le choix au final et évidement on a été réveillé à 05h30 par la lumière qui a été accompagné quelques temps après par le vacarme des moteurs de la climatisation / extracteurs des cuisines mis en route pour la préparation des petits déjeuners! Avec la chambre 215, on devait se situer à proximité des extracteurs, conclusion très peu et mal dormi!

Abbiamo soggiornato per un week end lungo in quest'albergo sul lungolago a Stresa. Ottimo ambiente , ottimo personale, ottima posizione centrale. Se possibile scegliete camere con balcone, leggermente più costose , ma più curate. A noi c'è capitata una camera con vista giardino/piscina , piccolina e con materasso scomodo e con le molle che ben si sentivano con la schiena. La cucina dell'albergo è buona , ma le porzioni che ci sono state servite a noi ( forse perché eravamo un gruppo ed il prezzo potrebbe essere stato più basso .....) erano proprio ridicole. Peccato.

Overall we enjoyed our stay We asked to move rooms as we had noisy neighbours, which they accommodated Staff were friendly Food was good, but did run out of some of the menu choices Room was good. Only bit was shower would occasionally should lose cold water, so wry hot water came out, which was not nice. Assume affected by adjacent rooms use of cold water

The hotel Astoria is just a spectacular hotel, over looking the lake and central for Stresa, we had a balcony view. The staff were amazing and looked & cared for all our comfort and so friendly, having stayed here will be remembered by us for ever. We had a very relaxing time, the food was very high quality and the rooms were spotless, and bedding renewed every other day. This was a much appreciated value for money stay and a must go back, so much to do and see. Highly recommended.

Hotel fantastico posto in prima linea per godere il panorama che la bellissima Stresa offre ai suoi visitatori. Dotato di un servizio di eccellenza dovuto al personale d'altri tempi ormai introvabile quasi ovunque ,e soprattutto, particolare non trascurabile ,con la classe dei tempi andati . ristorante a menu ottimi . ambiente spettacolare per arredi e vista. Siamo soddiffatti.
