The hotel grape is located in an excellent location on the Rhine River in Rüsselsheim However, for disabled people an absolute no go. The service was only good when a certain gentleman was at the reception. Women seemed to be overbearing, yet very launchful. The room service was OK but no longer. The hotel has come very into the years as well as partly the inventory. The beds in our room were a disaster. Matrixes up to go no longer located. The carpet floor is a dirt sleeve, full of spots and cracks. Similarly, the tape in the streams. Just shy. At closer view, it was also poorly cleaned. In the window frames had spinning tissue with small dead wings etc, as well as at the windows in the breakfast room. Just a shit. The windows in the room were certainly not washed for more than 1 year. The rest of the room was searched together. The swimming pool was for business reasons closed On the lower floors many steps and stairs. The breakfast was very good, the service was also OK. This hotel can only be able to make good location and good breakfast points, otherwise more than modest. Maximum a 2-star hotel. We will certainly not stay in this hotel again.

Very good, great location, not only in the heart of the town's scenic area, but also next door to the cable car station up the mountain. The key is that it is noisy, quiet, and clean. The boss and other service personnel are German locals, enthusiastic, sincere and kind. The first floor is a restaurant, but it is estimated that because it is too busy, it is only for guests who come to drink, so the evening will not be as noisy as the restaurant. The breakfast of the guest is on the restaurant of this floor. Compared with the size of the hotel, the breakfast is full, the bread baked on the house, the hot coffee in a pot and a pot, the quiet dining environment, the family sitting around a table, this trip One of the best experiences. We visited in early April 2022, as Covid-19 restrictions were easing, so masking requirements were mixed (we stayed masked in public areas and removed them at the dinner table; staff generally was masked, particularly when serving a couple of groups that were having conferences there). We found staff at the hotel -- which is family-owned -- friendly and the food excellent (they promote their cuisine); it's in a winemaking area just off the Rhine, and we liked the local product. Something to note is that the online menu may not match what you're offered if you book a package that includes dinner; this is NOT a complaint, as we liked the food, but guests should be aware of the possible difference (this may have to do with post-Covid economics). I see negative reviews here commenting on the lack of air conditioning; while we can't comment on the temperature as we were there in early spring, this is indeed typical of small German hotels in the countryside that are set up in older buildings. Also typical of such hotels is a lack of screens in the windows, which are equipped with roller shutters. The bathroom of our room was completely new and they modernized their old-style radiators with an electronically controlled central thermostat. Our main ”issue” with the room -- again, a function of the building's age -- were the power outlets, which were in somewhat odd places. The hotel is located in a valley of a brook leading into the Rhine; it's a stretch, but looks to be a walkable distance from the rail stop at the neighboring village Niederheimbach. Another reviewer complained about noise from work sites across the street, but that construction is now long completed,. We found the surroundings quiet and enjoyed the bird calls in the morning & evening. The view on the street/brook side of the hotel is now of nice, large houses on the edge of forested hills, while further up the road, the old village of Oberheimbach and some wind-power turbines are visible.

Recently stayed at this lovely small hotel which is very nicely located centrally in Rudesheim but far enough away from train noise or busy streets, although there is a bar opposite we were unaffected by any noise being located in a Comfort Junior Suite in the eaves of the hotel. Our suite consisted of a small sitting area and bathroom on the entry level and two bedrooms up a spiral stairway, this would be my main issue that you had to negotiate this stairs in the night if you needed the bathroom, plus the dressing table and storage area for the outer bedroom was also downstairs. There was a little dressing table and some shelves in the inner bedroom but storage is quite minimal so be prepared to live mostly out of your suitcase. However despite these issues the room had air conditioning, was spotless, beds were comfortable and bathroom well proportioned with lots of storage and a good hairdryer, there was also a good sized fridge which was very handy. Breakfast was served in the beautiful little restaurant which was unfortunately closed this year, there was also a nice little courtyard area where you could eat, we had a lovely lady waiting on us each morning and her helpfulness and friendly nature made up for the frosty unwelcoming woman who checked us in upon arrival. English speaking guests should be aware that it can be difficult to be understood, many staff have little English and learning a few basic German phrases would be helpful, this whole area is not really geared up for the English speaking market and is more aimed at native clients, this is reflected in the food also but that was fine we were there to experience something different and enjoyed the fare although asking for decaff coffee proved very difficult in some places its a bit of a rarity apparently! Overall we were very happy with our accommodation and thought it good value for money, maybe keep the frosty lady away from reception to ensure first impressions are true to the real hospitality of this charming hotel.

The room is very good in all aspects, there is no air conditioning, but the temperature on the mountain to the night is still not a big problem, but I am a southerner, I still like air conditioning, the environment has nothing to say, it is a very good experience, the mountain part is best to find a wine help to arrange the car, walking is still very tired, More than 4 points can be given

Three days half-reception in this excellent hotel. Super room, clean with great bed and spacious bathroom. Nice breakfast and dinner with great weissburgunder of own vines. Very friendly staff with top service. Located in the middle of Rudesheim, on the edge of the wine fields. A recommender where we like to be guest again.
