We were a college group in town for a conference. We booked non smoking rooms, rooms smelled absolutely horrible and had to change. No hot water the last day. Blankets had stains and holes. We booked super 8 because advertised to have breakfast, they have old coffee and granola bars.

Super poor breakfast options (think bread heels in sandwich bags), juice machine was out of order, no shuttle, unbelievably cheap accomodations, front desk person was behind bullet-proof glass like a prison. Parking lot and property was in porr condition. Ice machine was in a dimly lit room with the laundry machines. I cannot imagine a single cost they did not cut somehow, someway.

Holes and stains on the sheets. Potholes all over the parking lots. Shady loud activity all night. Foul damp smelling rooms. Shoddy appliances and wifi. Check In desk looked like a maximum security pharmacy. Avoid at all costs. Never staying at a super 8 again. This has happened too often. Avoiding everything Wyndham.

My King bed room #234 was large, relatively clean, comfortable bed, with a refrigerator and micro-wave. Check in was quick and easy. Free breakfast had nothing to offer, except toast and coffee. It was far from being your usual Super 8 free breakfast offering. This motel is multi-building, with outside room enterances and no elevators. If you can't climb stairs, get a first floor room. This is a budget motel that offers nothing more then a place to stay the night in. Would I return, yes. This "Old Geezer."

DO NOT STAY HERE EVER! I normally don't stay at this type of hotel, however, since we couldn't get an early check-in at the Crowne (1 exit up the road). We'd traveled literally 24 hours to get to Ohio and EVERY HOTEL we called this weekend was either sold out, overbooked or had zero vacancy EXCEPT this one. They said they had a smoking double bed room available. We are non-smokers, but needed to rest, shower and change while we waited for our 3pm check-in at the actual hotel we'd booked. The parking lot had many craters, HUGE car damaging holes to slalom around. The room was on the ground floor. Thank God i didnt damage my car getting to the room. Upon entering the cigarette smell was INCREDIBLY strong. I wondered if the room was clean, as I couldn't smell any air freshner when we entered. The sink had actual cigarette ash just left in it, which IMMEDIATELY had me SERIOUSLY questioning if the room was even cleaned. The floors looked vacuumed, the beds were made. There were NUMEROUS cigarette burns in the carpet, comforters and curtains. The fabric covered chair had a cornucopia of mystery stains and burn holes as well. The ceiling looked to have water damage in many areas that were patched and painted over. But the coup de gras was the tub. It LOOKED FILTHY and had SO MUCH PUTTY, SO MUCH PUTTY. Why not just replace it. As you can see, we purchased cleaning supplies and heavy duty fabreeze. For the quality of the room, any charge above FREE would have been overcharging. You have to return your room keys to the front office upon check out. We were literally the 3-4 hours while waiting for our actual hotel's check-in. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and polite. I'm thinking he was an owner. He seemed to care about his employees very much. That was why they got at least 1 star. Otherwise, I would have given negative stars is that was a possibility due to the quality of the room. Attached is a room tour of sorts, you decide for yourself.

Th room was small but the value was good. There are other hotels in the area that are much more expensive and this was budget friendly. Quiet. Bed very comfortable. And the gentleman checking us in and out was extremely friendly and accommodating. ( Mr DeGaule)

This hotel needs complete refurbishment. It is very run down, inside and out. Weeds abound outside from the cracked asphalt. The room smelled like stale cigarettes and beer. The curtains were moth eaten. And, they don’t provide a breakfast anymore.

I will never stay at this hotel ever again I was guaranteed at 12:00 p.m. check out cuz I asked for it but yet someone was knocking on my door at 11:00 a.m. and after telling them I'm not checking out till noon they knocked again at 11:30 a.m. which pissed me off cuz I was trying to get ready to catch my flight.
