Amazing location. Great place with a delicious English breakfast. It is a convenient place to town and the beach.

Booked a 4night stay, handed my keys back after first night. Complained to the hotel and havent even had the decency to reply to me 2 weeks later. Room was dirty, scokets hanging off the walls, holes in bathroom walls stuffed with toilet paper, rat traps in the room.. zero communication when i checked in just handed the keys. Would not recommend at all and am seeking a refund for the nights i was unable to stay as i had to seek alternitive accommodation

The hotel must have recently refurbished and it was very clean. But the little details were missing. No hand towel or bath mat. The wardrobe had not been put together properly the drawers didnt fit. The duvet didnt fit the bed! Think it might have been a superking which was very comfortable but the duvet didn't reach the edges when we were in it, may be a king size. Missed having fresh coffee at breakfast, was instant

Old but recently refitted. Bar downstairs if awful and loud. Windows single glazed, lots of noise and heat escape despite heating on full blast. NO HOT WATER!!!

THERE IS ESPECIALLY NOTHING TO LIKE WOULD NOT GO THERE AGAIN.

The windows and bath were covered with black mould and it stank like an ashtray. The bathroom window pane was broken with wind howling in and the room was cold as ice. Literally not fit for human habitation. At least they gave us the refund ASAP. Went elsewhere.

We arrived at the hotel in the summer to a friendly welcome from the helpful and enthusiastic staff but with low expectations for our experience after reading previous reviews on this site. Accessing our room required a steep climb up several floors of stairs, as there was no lift, meaning elderly customers would need to book a room on the ground floor. The room was very clean, comfortable, cosy and more than adequate for our needs, and we all enjoyed a good night's sleep in the comfortable beds. We were very impressed with the standard of the food, which was beautifully cooked by the chef Buddhi, who would have easily qualified to work in a much higher grade restaurant, although there was limited choice for meals and no desserts on the menu, however what was available was thoroughly enjoyable. As we stayed under the half-board, which we found very worthwhile, the quality of the meals we had surpassed our expectations. The front of house staff member, Isuru, was very friendly and knowledgeable, and nothing seemed too much trouble for him; he was always approachable and catered to all our needs. However, we discovered a restaurant menu in our room which was out of date, so don't depend on this for the meals available. Overall, we found our stay very enjoyable, excellent value for money and the staff extremely personable, as well as the wonderful food. If you have realistic expectations and are looking for a comfortable, budget hotel for a family break or business trip, you will not be disappointed. We would definitely recommend. We booked this hotel last minute as we needed somewhere to stay. Booked at 23.50 but had an hour to travel. When we got there we had to ring a mobile number to gain entry, waited for host to let us in, was a little rude as to why we were there so late, booked us in room which was basic, Ned not the best felt like we were going to roll out of it. We paid for breakfast but could not see anywhere to get it. The restaurant area was a storage room. All in all it was dry, basic, but affordable and clean. Would I stay here again? Yes if there was no where else but wouldn’t rush back.
