Lots of food in the local area. Not too far from the DWG National Recreation Area. Good for bigger kids. Clean and comfortable beds.

This place is an amazing location for my short stay of four days. But it was just amazing after a long flight to walk into a hotel and be greeted by such a welcoming individual.The rooms were immaculate . I would like to take a moment to acknowledge your employees each and everyone of them for maintaining the hotel from the amazing woman that greeted you in the morning and set up that amazing continental breakfast to everyone who maintained your room clean and checked everyday to make sure that you had enough towels. On my last day I ran into a young couple who was checking in and I just had to tell them that they did the right choice on staying at Penn Stroud. This is by far the best hotel near here and yes I have stayed in many in Pa. Thank you all for your serve and the pride that each and everyone of you did in your working capacity.❤️👏👏

When we stay in Stroudsburg for concerts we have been staying here rather than the Hampton because of location and cleanliness. My only complaints are that the rooms on the Main St side get street traffic noise and there is no in house bar, restaurant, coffee spot. Vending machines contain drinks only which is a bummer. This place has been restored nicely.

The vending machines didn’t accept cash, so getting drinking water outside of breakfast was not possible. Complimentary bottles of water would be nice.

Customer service was helpful and very nice. Hotel is clean, beds are comfortable. The only thing that I was disappointed was the breakfast. While it was good, I was looking for eggs. It is a continent breakfast, so a lot of carbs. It might say that in the description about the breakfast. I don’t usually book a hotel on breakfast. I book it on cleanliness and again it was very clean. Would stay here again
