Inn Shepard's Park

We were charged an extra $523.28 (over $87/day) above what we paid through *******. We had made a room change when we first made the booking, 4 months earlier, because we wanted a bathroom en suite, and were told we were all set. It seems as if the hostess waited to tell us about the additional charge until we arrived because she knew that we had limited ability to book anything different for a reasonable price at that point, especially given that it was February vacation week for the East Coast.

We received a gift certificate for a one night stay. It's a quaint b&b that's walkable to downtown Stuart, the river and other local restaurants/bars. Marilyn was very hospitable, answered all our questions, gave us good recommendations and was a great host. Our bedroom was very comfortable with its own bathroom and a tv. The porch is very inviting to relax and hang out. We very much enjoyed our stay.

A nice, quiet place convenient to downtown.

Peaceful and quaint The Inn was very clean on the inside. No bugs, which was a huge plus for me because, in Florida, unless you stay in a high-rise resort, you're typically going to see bugs. The outside garden could use some sprucing up, for curb-appeal, but the neighborhood is peaceful, and the Inn is close to everything. We took walks along the shoreline (beautiful sunsets) and watched people launching their boats at the dock across the street at the park. Shopping and restaurants are in abundance in downtown Stuart. Parking was never an issue.

My Wife and I spent a wonderful weekend get away at the Inn Shepard's Park B&B. The location was very close to all the waterfront activities. The room was tremendous and the breakfasts were to die for. Even better than all I have mentioned is the friendly hospitality we received from Marilyn the owner. She was the best. We have already told many of our friends not to miss this wonderful place as they travel the Florida coast. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Fred and Joyce

Very convenient to the Manor on St Lucie Crescent wedding venue. Quiet spot next to a park with a boardwalk along the tidal creek. Walking distance to restaurants, museums and shopping.

Clean and comfortable, as well as extremely welcoming. Conveniently located within easy walking distance of historic Stuart's restaurants and shops as well as a supermarket in the opposite direction. We loved the boardwalk along the water, the sunsets at the marina and the comfortable front porch. Also, on our first day the shower head broke, and it was replaced within an hour of our letting Marilyn know. If your lucky you'll get to meet Leonard. A very handsome, well mannered pooch who we didn't even realize was there until our second day. We didn't want to leave.
