My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights just before Memorial Day weekend. The trip was a little last minute so money was tight, and the price for a room here was fair. If you’re looking for luxury, go elsewhere. If you’re okay with motels, you should be fine. The inn needs renovations as most of it is dated. The carpets look dingy, the walls aren’t much better. The beds are firm and pillows lumpy. The room we stayed in smelled a little of mildew and felt humid, and that’s with the AC turned down to 66 degrees. Outside temperature was roughly the same. The pool area could use some updates, and the pool itself needs a good scrub as the water looked dingy. Typical hotel style breakfast options (waffle maker, eggs, sausage, pastry, juice, coffee). The eggs were overcooked and dry. Hot sauce might’ve helped if it were available. There were mice caught in a glue trap the day we stayed in for breakfast. Needless to say, we went out for breakfast the other days. The location is convenient as there are some great food options just down the road, a Kwik Trip and Walmart as well.
