SpringHill Suites Deadwood

We were in a bind finding last-minute accommodations for our trip and had never stayed at a Marriott before. We were pleasantly surprised by how great this hotel was. Though it wasn't in the main thoroughfare, we ended up driving into town and paying for parking, despite paying for parking at hotel, too, we would stay here again. (I'm sure you can walk pretty easily to main part of town, but we were busy and the walk was really hot and unshaded.) The room was HUGE and very clean. The pool area was just as nice as everyone said and the hours were later than advertised, too. 10pm-midnight was a no kids allowed zone and it was perfect for relaxing after a long day of trail rides and hiking. Morning breakfast was pretty standard and dull, so we mostly just grabbed coffee and went on our way with some granola bars. Parking above ground was always available and felt safe to us. Don't know what some other reviewers were scared of. The room was quiet at night and the A/C worked. Doris, the manager at the front desk was super helpful and friendly to us and explained the pool, some local tips, and the trolley outside. She was great!

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Bed should have been replaced a year ago, lumpy, bumpy and not good for a night of rest.

We came up for at paddy’s day!! Thank you for the amazing stay I know it was well packed & you all did amazing!! Front desk staff so much help to borrowing scissors to making sure my bff was on the room too in case we lost eachother!! Only thing is we were missing bags for our trash- such a little mistake we don’t care about- because rest of the room was flawless!! Thank you again cannot wait to be back! Amazing deadwood experience ☺️

Clean & comfortable stay! Love this property! We hadn’t been to Deadwood in years & decided to take a quick trip! This property is conveniently located & offers great dining options between their property & the others they are connected to! We had a great time!

Would like to give 5 stars to the two front desk associates who checked us in, Doris and Tarynn who immediately welcome us when we walked in. They were super friendly and helpful in explaining parking, the casino/restaurants, pool/spa area, breakfast and things to do in Deadwood. The room was good size and had a comfortable bed/pillows. Plentiful parking. Location was close enough to downtown Deadwood that you can walk, or you can take the trolley that stops in front of hotel for $2.00 per person. Breakfast had several options.

It was nice. We did have someone bang on our door at 3:30 am.
