The Hotel am Olga Eck is very centrally located and has excellent connections to the subway.
No air conditioning - as it's right next to the subway station, it's a bit noisy with the window open (but that's only natural).
So bring earplugs.
Breakfast was "small and delicious" - no surprises; just boiled eggs.
Highly recommended for a weekend or similar short break.
One more thing to note - the entrance is a staircase leading directly to the first floor, where the reception is located.

Staff was fantastic and it is somewhat rare to find a German hotel with an elevator on the ground. Location was also fantastic, super close to the Christmas markets. However, the room was fairly small, with a fairly low bed. Additionally the room was not super clean.

Floor had strange smell all over the corridor, it was not mentioned that the room would be small attic.
Rest was fine very neat and tidy. It was just the smell which was really bad and very limited options in breakfast menu

Had a terrible night of close to no slee
The rooms are quite small, which is perfectly fine, but they tend to retain heat. My window faced a busy street with the metro passing by every couple of minutes, which added a lot of noise. I’d strongly recommend providing a fan in these street-facing rooms.

Clean and close to city centre. 2 stops or 10-15 mins walk. Breakfast nothing special.
