Cloud No7 Lofts

Spent 1 night at this location during our tour of Germany. The room itself was a decent size. It is finished very simply (painted floors). The front desk has limited check in hours, but does have a provision for after hours check in. Location has a laundry room and the machines are operated through the use of an app. The couple we were travelling with tried to use the machines but ran into difficulties as were unable to get the app to authenticate. Also the laundry room is in the basement where there is very little cell or wifi service to enable the app. Check out was simple and straight forward. Comfortable enough stay.

I stayed at Cloud 07 Lofts with a group, and while the rooms themselves are clean and modern, the rest of the stay was very poor. Every one of our five rooms had problems with the electronic key cards not working. It happened multiple times a day, which meant constant trips to the desk. On our first night, one person was completely locked out and, with no reception after 6 PM (or on Sundays), they had to pay for another hotel. There is also no housekeeping at all, even for a three-night stay. Our rooms quickly filled with trash and we couldn’t get towels or other basics. For a hotel that looks new and well-designed, the lack of service and support made the entire stay stressful. Not recommended.

We stayed for 2 weeks in August in a Cosmopolitan Superior Loft. The room was spacious and comfortable. Lots of space in the wardrobe for unpacking clothes. The mattress was comfortable but pillows were flat. The room itself could have been a bit cleaner. The table had sticky spots on it that obviously had not been wiped after the previous guests and the fridge had spills inside and few stray blueberries! Because the room only gets cleaned once per week, we had to ask for additional towels and dishwasher tabs. We had an issue with the shower drain being clogged but it was addressed quickly. During the day staff was available, however not in the evenings or weekends. On Saturday evening our toilet stopped working and we couldn’t get a hold of anyone even when calling the emergency line. So we had to wait until Monday to have it fixed. This caused an inconvenience as we were forced to leave the hotel to use the bathroom. While staff were apologetic, no compensation was offered. The location is good, just a short walk to the bus and train. Within 5 minutes by train you are in the city centre. A Reve grocery store is right around the corner which was very convenient, as well as many cafes and restaurant options. I gave the hotel a 4 star rating due to location and room size for longer stays.

Staff were amazing! We were retirning guests and will stay here again next year

Clean, tidy and walking distance to the MHP Arena, if you wish so. Just extremely hot on a summer night due to the lack of AC.
