A very foggy cold night after a busy day it was nice to be welcomed by a friendly and informative receptionist. One nights stay room with small balcony overlooking the golf course and an incredible heater. Water pressure in shower is low but water hot
The rooms feel they would benefit from being updated a few ******* . *TV remote didn't turn TV off had to get up and pop hand behind set and turn off at socket. **The hair on the bath definitely not mine! **No obvious hairdryer. ***Room Service called twice extn not answered went via reception transferred to the bar salmon cream cheese on brown ordered arrived quickly unfortunately on white bread. Pink G&T delicious. Breakfast. Warm welcome and explanation offered from team. Great variety and the hot food was hot. **** The team brief at the bar perhaps could have been carried out elsewhere. Checkout painless.

Pros: quick check in, comfy bed, spacious room, friendly reception staff.
Cons: room was a little tired and in need of a deep clean and a lick of paint. Breakfast was a bit underwhelming in terms of options. Room had a little patio however not a very inviting view!

It was a good hotel, great breakfast, good value and friendly staff. The fast that it has electric charging is a big plus!

It's a nice place but hellishly expensive, an 8oz steak 1 1/2 pints of Lager and a 250ml glass of wine came to £54.80
I'm going back next week but it'll be Fish & Chips then and that's £18.00 !!
The prices are probably to keep the rif raf out, but something needs doing about the menu & prices

Staff were lovely. Hotel is very dated, which is fine, but definitely in need of a refurb. Room was not what I would expect for what I paid. Pretty dusty and dirty. Sink drained smelly very badly to the point I couldn’t wash my face. Shower pole was broken so I had to hold it to shower which wasn’t very comfortable at all. Toilet seemed to leak. Breakfast was standard as you would expect. Overall a great location / grounds. Hotel has fantastic potential but cleaning needs to be better and a refurb would do wonders.

I stayed at Ufford Park in April for an overnight visit, including dinner and breakfast, with two friends, and it was absolutely fantastic. The reception staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the room was both clean and spacious. We enjoyed a relaxing afternoon in the pool, which was at a comfortable temperature and impeccably clean. An added bonus was the child-free policy after 4pm. We had dinner booked at the restaurant and were thoroughly impressed. Our waiter, Thomas, was outstanding and very attentive. The menu offered a great variety of seasonal options, and the Pork Belly was cooked to perfection, beautifully presented, and incredibly delicious. It was a perfect break in every way , credit to the GM and Chef to have such amazing teams! I would not hesitate to book again or recommend Ufford Park to others!

The two day spa break that was booked for my wife's birthday was ruined due to the pool being out of action for the whole of the second day of our stay due to planned maintenance. Jacuzzi needed work too, only half of the jets worked. We were told by a staff member that they had been like that for several months. The whole thermal spa suite is in need of a major refit. It looks tatty with missing mosaic tiles and corroded hand rails. One of the sauna rooms was out of action for our entire stay. We overheard a conversation between two pool engineers, talking about part of the spa. One said the reason a certain part wasn't working was because a filter was clogged, and hadn't been changed since it was first installed. When we checked out, we raised the issue of the pool not being available for the second day of our stay. It seemed that we were causing an inconvenience by bringing up the subject. No reduction was offered despite a not insignificant amount of money spent on a two day spa break, which ended up being 1 day use of the facilities. Not happy and will not be returning

Visited Ufford Park Hotel for 3 nights as part of a group playing golf etc. We have visited many times over recent years. We had several critical comments when we stayed last year but I am pleased to report that the hotel has improved. The food was generally excellent especially the group dinners. Breakfast was the standard buffet style and good. I did mention last year that there is only one coffee machine available for breakfast so you sometimes have to queue for a cup of coffee (they promised two coffee machines after my comments last year). We also enjoyed the bar snacks although the service at the bar could be slow. The golf course was in better condition compared to last year although the greens and fairways can be a bit thin and patchy in places. The bar and public room have been refurbished to a good standard. My only criticism is the lack of storage in the rooms. We were staying for three days golf so we had lots of clothes and other kit. Unfortunately, there were only two small draws in the room, the wardrobe was full of spare bed clothes, an ironing board, iron and safe. The bedside tables had no draws. This lack of storage resulted in us having to make use of our car and I had to live out of our suitcase for three days. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. We did not use the spa.
