We visited Rikuzentakata to support the town and the tsunami recovery. While dark and cold this time of year, the Capital 1000 hotel was very welcoming. After informing the hotel staff that we would need to leave early in the morning, they gave us a discount and helped us find dinner in town. The onsen downstairs is great and excellent view from the property. Would love to stay again in the future.

Perhaps it can't be helped since it's this time of year, but the public bath is closed. I wanted you to think about it somehow. The basics of bath, food and rest. It doesn't matter what you do.
