Warm House Retreat Bed and Breakfast

Great B&B within Summerside. It's outside of the downtown area but still within the city. You could walk to downtown if you are ok with 20mins. It has lovely grounds though with a park across the street. Relatively quiet street for a main drag. The room (Princess room) was a good size with a small but nice ensuite bathroom. No air conditioning but the room had 2 windows and a nice PEI breeze all night. There is an overhead fan in the room too. Breakfast was very nice. They have a choice of 4 items. The owner made the experience though. Cate was fabulous. We had a 16' trailer with us and she went out of her way to make sure we could easily park it. She called us before we got there to give us advice and even moved her own vehicles to make room in their ample parking lot along with the other guest vehicles. And she's the epitome of Atlantic Canadian hospitality! I rarely give 5 stars but this was a 5 star experience. Highly recommend!

Cate and Greg were wonderful hosts and so very accommodating to my bicycling friends and me. Cate pays meticulous attention to detail, whether regarding cleanliness and hygiene or meal preparation. Greg even drove us to town for a lovely dinner at a fine local restaurant. Thanks you!

Charming and welcoming . Exterior and interior show the care and love that Kate and Gregg have for this iconic home. The ´à la carte ´breakfasts are sumptuous, delicious and varied. The location was great for us ( we were two couples ) as it was a short peddle to an excellent restaurant ( Brother's 2 ) Highly recommend this bnb. Rob from the Laurentiens in Quebec
