Hyatt Place Sumter/Downtown

Very clean. The breakfast is delicious. The staff is very friendly. A great place to stay in Sumter.

. This is a new hotel and was close to everything . The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly . I forgot my toothbrush and went downstairs to buy one and was given one for free from the manager. Our room was very big and had a full size couch in it . We would go back and would recommend

The Hyatt Place in Downtown Sumter is a gem. The location is hard to beat and the staff is very welcoming and helpful.

Would definitely stay again. Everything was great. Breakfast was good, we utilized the pool and the kids had a great time.

The Hyatt is located in downtown Sumter. There are restaurants and bars nearby plus food available at the hotel. There is not much else in this area, The front desk staff was welcoming. The hotel lobby area clean and spacious with lots of seating. There is a bar in the lobby area. Our room was a “suite” with a small divider between the bed and couch. The room and bathroom were clean and a nice size. The bed was comfortable and the pillows soft. The downside was the AC blew over the couch so it was very cold sitting in that area. There was a mini fridge and coffee maker but no microwave. A microwave was located in front of the elevators. Breakfast was the normal hotel fare. The breakfast area was nice and had plenty of seating. There was not a waffle maker. The coffee and creamer ran out every morning we were there. There were only a couple of pieces of bread the last morning. Parking is in a lot or garage behind the hotel.

Such nice people and our room was amazing. Wheelchair accessible, lots of space to get around. Housekeeping never came during our stay so we had to request coffee and wash clothes, which were delivered but the room was never cleaned while we were there. However, we will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is in a revitalized downtown area in Sumter, SC. It’s an unknown gem. Incredible small town atmosphere with top star bars and restaurants. Attended a wedding nearby and most stayed at the Hyatt and had similar experiences
