When we checked in, one of the rooms was not ready. Eventually when we got the room the air conditioner was not working and it was very cold and it was late at night after the music show. We didn’t get any help moving the luggage to the distant room.

Lovely room, fantastic breakfast buffet. Such a good hotel. Everything has been upgraded in the rooms. We had a wonderful stay. All facilities are very clean and maintained. A lot of staff available to assist. Busses ferry you between hotels. This hotel is great value for your money.

Such a beautiful place for local getaways. Very clean and well managed. Having a pool for adults and kids separate was very thoughtful, plus a full time life guard on-site. The waiters and waitress at the hotel bar are phenomenal, they always pay attention to detail and quick to respond to any request. The breakfast was great but the food from the bar was even more exceptional. Easily a 10/10 for local family getaway. Once you are there, there is no much need to ever leave the hotel until you checkout. Literally has everything, except for dinner which you can have at the main SunCity food court.

We have stayed here annually over the last 3 years and as per other reviews rooms are a little small however due to many activities (indoor and outdoor) I do not mind this as much. This resort brings us back annually as it's a place where we can just come and relax while our 11 year old just swims and we njoy a cocktail or 2 and more. Access to the water park and other many activities also keep us busy and is an added bonus. Rooms have always been clean during my visits and breakfast is great with many options. Pool is also always perfectly blue and clean. We were also there at the time of the rugby final and the screening area was just amazing

Shocking experience. Check-in took 45 mins. "System down" Desperately in need of a revamp. Rooms are very old, not properly maintained. Not nearly enough staff for peak season. Day visitor numbers dwarf residents so all facilities jam-packed and dysfunctional. Highlight was a bartender/waitress called Joyce at the pool bar. I left my MVG silver card at reception and asked them to cut it up. Not worth R50 a night never mind the nearly R5000 it cost me. I will not be back at Sun International.
