Sunderland City Centre

I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. The staff are an absolute credit to Premier Inn and were all wonderful. Spotlessly clean and a great location. Stayed for 2 nights for the Bruce Springsteen concert but will definitely be back! Thank you all!

This hotel is friendly, welcoming and extremely clean. We enjoyed a great night's stay enabling us to meet friends within walking distance of pubs and restaurants. Quiet at night. Good comfy bed too.

Fantastic staff, friendly and helpful, check in machine was going a bit mad and the staff were most helpful in helping with it and it was mad with them too! We went for the Bruce Springsteen concert, easy 20 minute walk to the stadium and Comfortable bed and air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was very good, even made us poached eggs on request and all the better as were given a complimentary breakfast for finding a Bruce Guitar in our room!! Definitely would stay again fpr a night or two due tot he staff and the excellent location for the stadium and city centre.

Stayed just the one night at the Sunderland City centre Premier Inn. Perfect location close to the family party venue. Excellent room. Very clean and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very nice as well. Staff were friendly, professional and keen to help. We used the St Mary's car park a short walk away. Left the car there overnight. This car park has an office on the ground floor which was staffed on a Sunday morning when we left as I had an issue with the ticket now capturing my full registration number. Car park staff were on hand to get me on my way with the minimum of delay. I'd use this hotel and car park again next time I'm on the area.

I’d booked this hotel in advance of getting tickets for Bruce Springsteen concert as a surprise for my Mums 70th. I contacted the hotel & explained I’d booked a double & not a twin… got an email back to say they’d made the change to twin. Explained I was staying with my mum for her 70th surprise (only told her 3 days before!) and when we got to our room there were 70th birthday banners, a card & chocolates for mum! So lovely & thoughtful 😊😊 we upgraded to to have meal deal which was great… every member of staff were so friendly & helpful, we had such a nice stay & I’ll be recommending this hotel to my friends that need to stay that way. Thanks again 🥰

Loved this hotel, the staff were excellent, rooms were very good and food pricing was also very good. Parking can be an issue as its a small car park now run by the hotel.

Everything good, good attention and good breakfast, need more variety only. There is in a good place, near to train station, shopping center and more

Checked in on a Saturday night and never had to check in without it being face to face and all done by a computer. Quick process and room 117 was a spacious family room, with double and single bed. Bathroom has shower and regular size bath. On leaving reception staff kept bag until later on in day. So all in all a good stay and a great price

Very disappointing for a Premier Inn - for which I have normally much time. I stayed two nights here. Firstly there was no parking. At a hotel in the city?! What the hell? Then I slept over and when I left in the morning I placed the request to clean the room on the door handle. Why should I actually have to ask for this?! But I did. Nevertheless I came back tonight the room was as it was left earlier. Trash wasn’t cleaned. Bed wasn’t made. Dirty bathroom wasn’t sorted. So much for the hanger on the door to request a clean up. Why should I be paying to stay in a hotel where they don’t even neaten the room at all. I won’t ever stay here again. And I’ll have another think before trying Premier Inn again. Great own goal. Disgusting arrogance.
