Premier Inn Sunderland A19/A1231

We've just left the Premier Inn after a few nights stay visiting friends in the area. I travelled with my partner and toddler and was really impressed with our stay. The location is great, 10 minutes to the beach and straight on the A19 for access to local areas. All of the staff were so friendly and genuinely made the difference in our visit. The breakfast had a good selection for all and it was nice that kids eat free so we could try our toddler with a few foods he wouldn't usually have often. The price for 3 nights was very reasonable as well. We'd definitely stay again next time when visiting the area.

I travel for work and stay with premiere inn almost every week. I arrived late at the hotel to a very cheery and helpful member of staff. Mel. She is an amazing ambassador for the brand and I hope premier inn recognise her efforts and hard work.

The parking was too small and 5 spaces taken by electric vehicle charges and 5 disabled bays. I have nothing against tradespeople but this hotel was full of them and the vans made a small car park even smaller!

Very comfortable hotel, parking can be an issue . Restaurant was very good Special shout out to Katie from housekeeping.

The rooms are basic but comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Stayed 5 times before. first time a lower floor but was noisy with people above walking across sounding like a heard of elephants. Upper floor is much quieter. What is very annoying is the smoke alarm going off every time we have stayed. Having to stand in the car park in all weather and the cause is people having a shower and leaving the door open. ( this was from the fireman) The resturant next door is a joke. Ordered food and waited so long for it to come out. When it did come out it was the wrong order so ended up getting a refund. Will stay somewhere else next time. Lost a customer and will not recommend to anyone

We stayed over Easter weekend in an accessible room, which was bright recently refurbished and spacious. The staff were friendly and welcoming and we particularly liked that the hotel was interconnected with the Brewers fair. This worked particularly well one evening as it was raining and meant we didn’t have to go outside to get back to our room.

Super clean and very friendly, helpful staff. Thank you for a lovely stay. I stay in these a lot for work and this is the cleanest one I've encountered. Will definitely book this one again when I'm up this way for work. Special thanks to Mel, who helped me with a little issue :)

Amazing, friendly service ...Abbie is a massive credit to the company...she couldn't do more to make our stay welcoming and comfortable, she also has a very good sense of humour...thank you very much Abbie and premier inn, very much look forward to staying again :)

After a very long day/night shift we was struggling to find a place to stay, we came across this premier inn, Very friendly, funny polite Staff (abbie) would highly recommend if in the area. Restaurant next door was convenient to eat and drink.
