Excellent location and hotel. The one-piece bed sheet was significantly narrower than the bed and absolutely insufficient for two people.

God service og pænt og rent hotel ..
Meget imødekommende personale og morgenmad var lækker og veltilberedt.
Parkeringsforhold og adgangsforhold til hotellet er gode.
Flot område med bjerge og fjorde ..

Secure, spacious, quiet, friendly. Room not vacuumed, coffee not replenished, laundry not fresh, not ironed or folded properly. Room far too cold, unable to adjust the temperature, staff had to provide heater.

This hotel has spacious rooms. The staff is very helpful (pointed us to a great place to bathe in the fjord, Slettøya, 7 min walk from the hotel). The hotel has a nice restaurant for lunch/dinner too. Breakfast is outstanding. Hotel dates from 1648. Close to King’s View (Kongens utsikt, or Queens view (Dronningens utsijt) if you have little time/not a good walker 1.5km uphill.

All the food is of excellent quality. The breakfast buffet is vast and varied.
The bed was very comfortable.
I will be staying there again in a couple of weeks before flying out of Oslo.

Love this place - we wish we had stayed here 2 nights instead of just 1. We got there late so were not able to enjoy the spa. Love the comfy sitting area in each room. The restaurant was fabulous - great dinner and service even though we got there close to closing time. View was nice. Really enjoyed this hotel! Highly recommend!!
