The resort is still great. We've been going every summer for 20 years and had a great time last week. But I wanted to warn guests about a new Damage Fee Policy. You are forced to buy damage insurance or else Sunriver will charge your credit card $3000 and hold the funds for a minimum of 21 days. I was told it takes 21 days to issue the credit because it has to go through 4 departments. I am a hotel GM and know this is ridiculous. Deposits for incidentals are typically released within 24 hours of check out at almost all hotels. Then, of course, your bank processing can take a little longer. If you are staying at the lodge you have no choice but if you are renting a house I recommend you avoid booking through Sunriver.

I visited Sunriver Resort 5/26 to 5/30/24 and had the most tranquil and relaxing time I've had in ages! The customer service was consistently top-notch every single day. Special Mentions: BEN-Front desk checked me in and was a great ambassador to my Day 1! JOSE-Front desk was very polite and helpful each time I engaged him. "MR MAGIC"--easily the most unforgettable employee at the resort! He is one of the reasons I looked forward to the daily drive to/from the village. The other driver, REBECCA was amazing as well. CALVIN GUNN--Houseman/Housekeeping was diligent in fulfilling my requests for extra towels and filling my ice bucket. He was always on top of everything and for that I give him a special shout-out. MORGAN!!!-Owl's Nest bartender--kept me in stitches sharing serving stories and life experiences. MORGAN was a highlight of my visit. What an amazing team assembled here. Thanks for the fantastic time! Hope to be back soon!

One of my favorite resorts. The rooms are nice and spacious and comfortable. I always enjoy staying here. It is even better in the snow with the fireplace going. The front desk staff are friendly and I love that they have a texting option. It is nice and rustic with modern touches.

I recently played at Crosswater and Meadows golf courses and it was a wonderful experience. The courses were both in pristine shape and the staff was extremely friendly from helping prior to the round and after the round, making both memorable days and excited for my next visit!
