Stayed for 1N whilst passing through Surat Thani en route to Koh Samui. I was drawn by a combination of good reviews, price and proximity to Thaksin Hospital where I planned to get a PCR test before travel to Samui. The location was very convenient, as suggested. Room was spacious and of good quality. The polished concrete floor is a little slippy when your feet are wet after a shower! To note. The reception area doubles as a cafe which is decorated in a clean, contemporary style. I visited it a couple of times and was pleased with the coffee and pastries. There is self-service breakfast included in the price however it was so basic (hot drinks, toast & spreads, cornflakes) that I didn't bother with it and ordered from the cafe's retail menu. In all honesty, when the free breakfast offering is so basic it feels more like a negative than a positive, especially when compared to breakfasts offered to other hotels I've stayed in for comparable price. I'd rather the price be greater to accommodate an enhanced breakfast offering, or even a discount at the cafe for hotel residents. As the cafe was rather good, this would certainly raise the number of points I'd give this hotel. Would i recommended? Certainly. Its ideal for a city stay.
