3-Star Hotels in Surfers Paradise

Nothing to complain about the accommodation itself. Everything is fine: location, cleanliness. But it was one of my worst travel experiences so far. I stayed in a 10 bed female dorm. There were only 3 occupied beds that night. One girl brought a man to the room and had sex on the upper bed at 5 am in the morning. I was really shocked. It was the guest problem so I am not blaming the hostel. I'm just writing what happened that night.

For a relaxing holiday with no fuss consider this accommodation. It was perfect from the room, views, facilities and location. Rooms as you expect for the price. Views that you don't get sick of. Facilities of laundry, bbq, spas, pool and games/gym area were great. Location location I didn't have a hire car nor did I need one walked to Capri boat hire and the skypoint observation building and all the shops (bws across road and coles 2 blocks away) Right in the heart of Surfers! As for the bad reviews they want everything for nothing. The $3.00 beach towel hire was for the whole 5 day stay not each day. The staff were helpful and friendly. A/c and fan worked a charm. No room service while here 5 days but that's how they keep the prices down. Couldn't hear noise of road much as the surf is loud. I will definitely be back. Thanks again.

Paradise island resort. Not vacuumed and really dirty around and behind furniture. 2 pots with tefal coming off, toxic. Kitchen CBS appear to have things just thrown in. No flannel unless you pay extra. No dish towel. Difficulty finding car park. Dw had cutlery left in, smelly, no powder to use. No bulbs work in lounge lamp. Sign to clean or get charged. Party of 7, drunk, disorderly, smoking and diving IN the pool. No answer from onsite mangement. Told desk following day and pretty much told there were no complaints. We know there were others complaining. Went on for hours. How do you complain when no management here and no answer on phone.Wish I'd checked the reviews before staying in this dirty room. Huge disappointment. The only benefits here are maybe a lovely pool and location. You could do a lot to tidy up the unit. I have photos of mess but can't upload them.

We had one of the ocean view apartments, the view was amazing and lifted the whole apartment. The room was okay, decent kitchen, very below average bathroom with very low shower pressure. The pool area was a lot better than I thought it would be and we spent a lot of time here. The room and pool area get a lot of sun throughout the day. I think the ocean view apartment is good for someone who wants a beach view but can not afford beach view prices. You do get what you pay for. I probably would not recommend any other room (not ocean view) as they looked quite depressing and did not have any lifting qualities.

A apartment with a bedroom, a living room, a kitchen, a toilet, a beautiful ocean view, close to the beach, markets and restaurants with a privileged location in the upper rotation and a good price, but the elevators are crowded at the peak, free parking, good Internet.

On arrival it I had to look for someone to book in as nobody at the desk. Well the website promised recently upgraded accommodation. First impressions were that it must have been updated using Grandma's hand me downs. Very old and dated fittings, and a shower that only worked sometimes. The hot water sometimes didn't work at all, or it came out in spurts. We booked a room for a couple and requested bedding as such, but got into the room and had 3 single beds. Luckily the beds were on wheels and we could push 2 together. We decided to check out the bar in the main building which was nicely decorated as you would expect, but I jut don't get marketing yourself as an Irish pub but playing pop music through the speakers. It was definitely lacking atmosphere and the staff also seemed disinterested in being there.......and $19 for a beer and glass of wine was just ridiculous. They also advertise Wi-Fi but when I tried to access it you needed a login. By this point I couldn't be bothered going to chase this up, but it should have been in the rooms. The rooms did not have any form of paperwork or information at all. The room was somewhat sound proof but you could still here loud people in the bar area. No traffic was heard though and the beds were comfortable.

Rooms were nice, View was nice, pol was nice. BUT....we only stayed 2 nights and asked for a refund (which they gave us without argurment). 3 lights didnt work, blind in main bedroom would not pull down, had to ask for cups and glasses, no pool towels, ion the second night the light in the main bedroom kept flashing off and on and ceiling fan in same bedroom did not work (and they knew it!). Very disappoing, maintenance is needed big time there unfortunately. with all the apartments surrounding the area, Surf Regency really needs to pick up its game.

We stayed in apartment 14a, family of five, amazing apartment with stacks for space. Views were amazing and had everything we needed. So close to everything in the main town centre, five minutes walk to the beach, we will be back. Thanks to the amazing service from the reservation team who helped with anything we needed.

The hotel is cheap, within walking distance to Surfers Paradise, it has been decorated for a while, I confirmed it for a long time when I placed the order, saying it was a different supplier, and finally had to re-order
