We thoroughly enjoyed our room and thought the staff and location were great. We didn’t care for the extra fees or the fact that we wanted the bar to open later than 9 PM. The shower was also very slow to drain. Otherwise, great stay. Would recommend this stay for people going to North Miami.

Volveremos siempre! simplemente una gran experiencia desde el check in hasta el ultimo dia. Esta es la séptima vez que nos alojamos allí y cada año han mejorado las instalaciones, en esta ultima estadía las habitaciones e instalaciones están a nuevo. Este hotel tiene algunos 'plus' que no tienen los temas de la zona, empezando por el desayuno incluido, servicio de silla y toallas para la playa (a una cuadra!), devolucion del importe del tax diario con un vale por comida o bebidas que se piden en el bar o en el pool bar, un gran garage y demás. Y lo mas destacable: el personal del hotel. Amables y siempre bien dispuestos, comenzando por Carlos (manager) quien esta presente en todo momento y personalmente se hace cargo de cualquier inconveniente que pueda haber pasado hasta Maria, que nos hacia disfrutar el desayuno con su amabilidad y tan buen humor. En definitiva, totalmente recomendable!

Stayed one night before a cruise. Pro - Pool is heated Beach is very close and they give you beach chairs. Room was spacious and clean. Beds were fine. Con- Free breakfast was disappointing for a residence inn. No waffles, pastries, or yogurt Cocktails are very expensive Overall we would stay again.

Horrible experience. Booked a room for a week in October 2023 to enjoy our vacation and to also celebrate my birthday. Upon arrival, around 3pm my husband and I were informed that they secured a room with a broken AC for us! I explained that this trip was very important for us and begged to give us a different room, but the front desk supervisor claimed that the hotel was sold out and this was the only room available. The room was unbearably hot. Ultimately, the room with a broken AC had to be placed out of order, and the sold-out hotel should have walked us to a comparable property nearby and cover our stay there. None of that was offered. We waited for a few of hours in hope of any cancellations. By 6pm we were exhausted, and decided to leave and drive back home for another 3 hours. Had no words… didn’t even want to leave any reviews back then…

Just for reference, my status with Marriott Bonvoy is Lifetime Platinum Elite so I've stayed at many Marriott properties. That said, the majority of my experiences are awesome, home away from home... The staff at this property is amazing, especially the front desk manager, Maryann Solomon Mederia, the general manager and the young lady that was working at the pool pub/cafe. The facility lobby/front desk area is inviting however housekeeping could use a little work. While they take care of the main things their attention to the details are lacking i.e. elevator cabs, cheerios left in corners of the room for days, appliances need to be wiped down, toilet paper holder needed to be repaired,,, etc... Overall my stay was just okay, I paid a premium price, approximately $500 per/night including taxes and fees, plus $38 per/night for parking and had just an "ordinary" experience... From the photos and description on the website my experience did not live up to the hype!

Great room with spacious bathroom. Walking distance to the beach and to bal harbour mall. There is also a Publix supermarket nearby. Friendly staff.
