The door to our bathroom couldn’t be opened or closed without getting stuck, we had to lift the door and use our bodies to push it. The shower drain was clogged and so the water would pool at the bottom and spill out of the shower. We had slept in late (only till 10) when the room cleaners came around and let themselves into the room without warning. There was zero parking so we had to risk getting a fine, luckily we didn’t. There was no mattress cover, just a sheet, the quilt was sandwiched by two sheets, no quilt cover. Other than that the place was quite nice as well as staff. Not worth the price though unfortunately.

This property is clean and seems recently renovated. Its also spacious compared to some other hotels. They have a basic breakfast and coffee tea milk available which is a bonus. I will stay again.

The Crown Hotel is a great place to stay. Walking distance to Moore Park/SCG/Accor stadium. The rooms are well appointed with mini fridge and comfy bed. The communal kitchen was a lovely addition, where you can make complimentary tea and coffee. Even though located on a busy road, the rooms are remarkable sound proof and we had no trouble sleeping. Would stay there again!

Loved staying here, nearby the Moore Park SCG, Hordern Pavillion and Allianz stadium for sport and concerts I attended. Crown Street is full of great local restaurants and cafes, and the pub downstairs has great food and drinks. Rooms are completely silent, air conditioned and beds nice big and comfy. Everything was nice and clean, looking forward to coming back here on my next trip.

Stayed 3 nights for a marathon. I was worried about the noise because it was on the 1st floor along the main road to Bondi Beach, but the hotel was on the 3rd floor and it was quiet at night. It was a room with only a shower without a bathtub, but it was clean without any problems. There is a shared kitchen with a simple breakfast, drinks and cereals, cooking utensils and tableware that are always available. The people at the sports bar will kindly help you with the reception of the hotel and depositing your luggage.
The neighborhood is a safe city with cute buildings and parks, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes. It is a convenient place with a light rail station in 5 minutes on foot and a bus stop for east-west and north-south directions in 1 minute.
